SN Bigfoot 2011. Starting off the morning right after a long shift!
This was a spectacular surprise. Only got it because the bottle was unique. What a DAMN good beer.
2011 Serpent's stout - gave it a 4.5/5, one helluva fine beer!
Shaved my right thumbprint clean off... thanks Trader Joe's!
Now a very special beer from BBC:
Cheers early morning beeradvocate! EMBA 4 lyfe
I am always amazed at how early this thread starts. Oh well, at least it gives me somethin to do when I'm half awake sitting in Sci class at 8 am. Anyway, this is from the other day, just never got a chance to post it. Seems xtra juicy this year. Every time I taste this it reconfirms my belief that this is one of the greats.
Unibroue Trois Pistoles

I think us Northern tier residents don't like this picture very much
Not drinking today but last night i went to my local irish pub for the super bowl. The place was dead outside when its usually bumping so that was nice. As soon as my server comes up the first thing he tells me is "just so you know we just got one keg of hopslam in today and we are running a special of it for as long as the super bowl is on".
3.75 a pint! only bar in my whole city to get a keg too. Thanks to that blackout i got almost an extra hour of drinking time on it too. Great night.
I put in 19 years of New England winters and escaped the first chance I got
This was actually last night at Novare Res.
2012 Utopias. They had 2011 too, it was a dollar more though...
Ha...then I guess you are marginally entitled to the time in the sun, says the lifer...
Much better than I remember!
Last beer I drank was Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb
2009 St. Bernardus Abt 12.
Capping off a 3 day weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow.
The beer is similar to Bourbon County Brand Stout in a lot of ways. Awesome stuff. Cheers!
Stopped by Greenbush for a few pints and some dinner with friends. Having Jadis Winter White with the brisket sandwich...
Ps Take em down Bennett!
Founder's Imperial Stout is my second offering...to myself. Cheers!
Homebrewed Damphbier. OG and FG were both slighly high but still came in at 4.5% ABV so that makes me happy. Pretty happy with the yeast profile also.
However, drinking it by the quart may offset the low ABV . Cheers, All.
Have not had this one in a while and yummy is what it is!
Yamar I love this Rocky 4 training montage! We are with you in spirit in your conquest!
I've been abstaining since I came down with the Flu (on day four), but it's amazing to me just how I enjoy the sensory experience of just looking at beautiful beers within elegant specialty glasses. I really feel that the visual component is important, so keep posting, and entertain me!
Drinking Sunturn, a smoked barleywine, at When Pigs Fly.
A great beer!
Working in the forge again today. Forged this bottle opener per request from a new friend and had to try it out on a Ruination.
