Hof Ten - Wit Goud
My girlfriend is drinking a homebrewed coconut porter, reportedly "the best beer [she's] had in [her] life."
I nodded, pleased with the compliment, and the ability to keep these to myself.
Congrats! I love your avatar - I saw HH in person once, I was eating lunch in an empty dining room of the Outback Steakhouse on Clearwater Beach with a buddy when none other than this towering man, the Hulk, and his children walk in and sit the next booth over to have lunch, it was a humbling experience.
My first Kern beer
Deschutes Hop Henge. Yum
But oh wait
Bangin out this and playing COD
Going hard by myself this Monday night.
Well hello, old friend.
Love your avatar:
That's enough sex in a glass that even Mr. Ron Jeremy couldn't keep up with! Sleep well, Ron Jr., sleep well!!
Started the night with a Bells Midwestern Pale Ale. I love some of Bells beers, but man oh man, why can't they make a decent Pale Ale. This one is about as bad as their last Pale Ale.
Followed that with a 21st Amendment Bitter American. Pretty good!
I remember that - you should have said hi, I'm always excited to meet my fans.
I love the Trader Joe's Vintage Ale! 3 cases in my basement! Thank TJ and Unibroue!
The jury is still out. It was good, but I think its missing something.
It's a well done DIPA, pretty nice balance between citrusy and piney/resinous notes and the sweet malts. Goes down really easy for almost 9%, I'd probably go a bit below the average rating at like a 90 because it didn't blow me away and I would have liked a bit more citrus bite and a touch less syrupy sweetness.
Yeah, until her beer journey progresses, then be prepared to defend the fort unless your coconut porter is so outstanding it beats out BCS! ( )
Very good Wit. A bit watery but the balance and complexity is nice. Very drinkable.
Damn hoppy Helles. I ain't complaining. This is really damn good. (Gorch Fock)
I had a similar experience and I'm glad it wasn't just me.
That's what was in my glass in this picture:
Sweetwater's The Gimp....WIDE OPEN flavors
Joining yamar68 in the Hopslamed challenge!
I'm nodding, pleased as well...from your picture, impeccable grammar (English degree here), and my third Renegade Elevation (triple IPA). Cheers!
EDIT: Oh! Nods accompanied by Rush!
sipping a 2010 4th d while watching some cedar point videos missing the shit out of that place.. so whens the BA cedar point/kalahari meet up this summer?
Kids are finally a sleep time for somegood beer and the local news
Well after 10 hrs of fighting w/ my car & ultimately losing i broke down and tried the new bud black crown, meh, washed it down with my beloved torpedo !
Cheers All !!!
I had a 4pack of this last night. Perfection in a can
Hells yes! Northwest Ohio native here...whenever people talk about great amusement parks and roller coasters, I just snicker. I may not be a beer snob, but don't talk to me about the best roller coasters until you've been to Sandusky.
I had it for the first time on friday and it blew me away
Spicy garlic butter crawfish and boulevard reverb. Yep. Delicious.
Decided to grab a stout for once, went with a Central Waters' Satin Solstice.
Sam Adams Double Agent IPL. Me thinks Sam Adams is very good at brewing hoppy lagers.
Was in Portland today and happened to stop by the brewery. Managed to pick these two beauties up. Also got to try the FV13 which was incredible as well.
This is Great stuff.
Need Great Music now too.
hell yea!! a cedar point meet up would be sick! add in some fast lane passes and you really cant have a better day anywhere else.
I can't seem to stop enjoying these, so damn good!
Life is good! Thunder rule! Cheers ~
Last of my Xmas beers, I think.
St. Bernardus Christmas Ale w/ baguette and aged Gouda.
I figured this is an appropriate song for the Hopslamed Challenge.
Keeping it local tonight
