Opposed to the other kind of chop suey?
Celebrating the end of a long and stressful day. Signed the third largest deal in company history today! This means the world to me and my family (two kids and one on the way) financially. I can't tell you the relief after four years of working on this to finally say it is done!
Cheers to the greatest community of good people I have ever come across!!!
Edit: oh... And Let's Go Hawks! Kick that bitch's teeth in tonight
I see what you did there.
Congrats man! Closing deals huh? Talk like that always make me think of 80s business guys, like this one...
Left Hand Milk Stout. So smooth with the perfect amount of sweetness. I feel like I could drink a thousand of 'em, you guys.
Half Acre Daisy Cutter
Having a 90 Minute at Tap Room in Jacksonville
Lol. Thanks man!
Went out to celebrate a buddy's birthday last night, ended up killing a bottle of Pappy:
Yes, I drink my Pappy with PBR.
Picked up a mystery box at the Heights Beer & Wine Emporium in jersey. Great Brewers they have 6 packs of dinner bottles and this time I went with the 12 pack of 12 oz. both go for $14.99. starting out with Mission Dark Seas russian imperial stout 9.8% mmm so decadent.
First hit up a local bar and grabbed a glass of some Funkwerks Bastogne and Elevation Fresh Hop IPA.
Next, hit up Odell and tried 7272, a session IPA brewed with an experimental hop variety named 7272, and Wee Willie Winkie, a Scottish Ale that uses Smoked Cherry Wood rather than smoked Peat Wood.
Not sure if I will continue the drinking now that I am home or not.
Lol. I listened but didn't hear them say chop suey.
Btw, the only time I had it was at a Chinese restaurant in Sydney Australia back in the 70s. I didn't like it.
At the end of the day beer and music... Including Italian death metal is an escape from the trial and tribulations of everyday life. It's not a reality, so don't take it as seriously as such. Sit back relax and enjoy the ride. No matter how dark or light it may be. Tonight's ride is rather light and enjoyable by my standards...
Picked up a single of Mission St. India Pale Ale at Trader Joe's this afternoon. Wish I would have got a whole six pack. That's pretty good stuff.
Session IPA? Tell me more. please.
meh, the beer ok. tick
It was the only thing related to chop suey that I could think of. Never had the dish and frankly don't know what's in it, but then again that describes half the stuff at the Chinese restaurant.
Enjoying some hockey, cracked open this amazing brew, 3 floyds rye da tiger!
Imperial Breakfast Stout (coffee is rather overwhelming still)
Working on a Moo Hoo and Wake n Bake mix tonight.
The main pairing of the night. Balsamic Chicken Salad with a Belgian Tripple. Using Belgians to pair food is always an easy way out but this is one of the better compliments I've ever had.
Stay tuned to an easy but good dessert pairing...
Been waiting for awhile to drink this one again. Bottled 13 days ago, 1/25/13.
Chop Suey=leftovers. That's what I've been told and the day I tried it, I was sure it was true.
Just got done snow blowing this just made sense. 2009 Alaskan barley wine
I WILL RAISE THE GLASS THIS EVE FOR THIS! PROUD SUPPORTER OF DEATH METAL ITALIANO!
Hello all. I'm newbie here, but just finished one of these. Not a bad IPA!!!
Take a deep breath. Remember, it's only the most important decision you'll make all day!
My bad...session APA. 4.4 % ABV and its pretty much a showcase of an experimental hop variety called 7272. It offered an impressive amount of flavor for the low abv but not sure I was a huge fan of the hop variety...it seemed to be really, really musty. Not offensively so but can't say I finished my beer and had a need for another.
Thought the cherry wood smoked scottish ale was quite the better of the 2 Odell pilot brews I tried.
Thanks for the trade, Wingfan13!
I don't know what you do, but congrats friend.
I am having another Yuengling at a roadside bar in the middle of nowhere, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins / Washington Capitals game.

Too lazy to take a picture. This has to be one of the best IPA's you can get for less that 10 bucks a 6 pack.
