Lady's on the left, mine on the right. Cheers everyone, TGIF!
I still have the taste of Jai Alai in my mouth from last night. Holy FUCK it was delicious.
Thank God it's friday. Don't know if the rainbow is visible on the picture but it sure was a nice touch on a cold friday afternoon here.
I'm having one of the more interesting Swedish macro lagers which has a nice orangey hop note. Nothing like an American craft beer in its hop presence, but bready and delicious with a nice hop note.
Good morning! I will start my Friday Blizzard festivities by having a Breakfast Stout with.... BREAKFAST!!!
Day off today. What should I do first? I know.....
So I have these to choose from in the fridge to welcome this blizzard to CT..
Smuttynose Variety 12Pk. ft. Winter ale
2 Ballast Point Big Eye I.P.A.
1 Bell's Hopslam
Starting after lunch.....
My first one, delicious!
Happy Friday all
First of the season
Bring it Nemo, you sumbitch.
Work is closed today and tomorrow due to the blizzard...started off the day with a 3Beans! Cheers!
Absolutely gorgeous day in Texas. Woke up, checked the news online, and saw the same old tired argument over gun control. Way too nice of day for that rubbish. Poured myself a Santa Fe Imperial Java Stout and about to take my dogs on a walk with my beer. Used a coffee mug so that my nosy neighbors won't gossip haha. Some people like starbuck's in the morning, i like a coffee stout.
awesome idea. The other night I was walking my dog with a tall boy of Dale's Pale Ale. So what if the neighbors saw?
First stout for the storm.
One is night, the other morning.
But from the looks of the rows of empty bottles behind the Java Stout, I think the neighbors may already know.
This right here, that's the way you do it.
Bracing for NEMO the blizzard and enjoying some NN dated 1/29/2013!
Time to drown more EBF woes.
Where's the date on this bad boy?
Start with Stone Ruination. Plenty more to come during the blizzard. Cant wait for my Foolproof to chill.
Its right above the label. Its written very lightly.
Had my first bottle of this last night and it was so good I couldn't even wait 24 hours to pop open the 2nd.
One down 5 to go... Best snow day ever!
Stay warm everybody!
Preparing to get snowed in, plenty of Heady in the fridge.
I forgot I had this. The hops have faded a little but it is still very good.
I have a Firestone XVI in the trunk of my car. I really want to go outside and drink it, but sadly work calls.
I was feeling great about my fresh Nugget nectar (bottled 01/23/2013) Now you are making me feel like my Nugget Nectar is old.
Round two of the blizzard beer
Nice lacing, looks gewd.
Excellent choice! Midwest guy in north Jersey...Nugget Nectar is one of the few East Coast beers that ABSOLUTELY lived up to the hype. I still have not seen any.
Love this beer, forgot how much I missed it until left Great Lakes/Midwest.
Kids had 1/2 day and wife is home. Just cracked open this bomber:
Port Brewing High Tide IPA
nice brew for lunch and watching the snow fall.
I got 3-4 more gems chilling in the refrigerated on-deck circle.
Is this a Nugget Nectar challenge?
So.... why did you take that picture?
"Blizzard/Snow storm" beer #2:
DC Brau Penn Quarter Porter
Great pic! I assume that is your wife or gf? Enjoy the beer and woman.
Nice choice! Not sure of your choice of hockey team! Just kidding, I don't mind the Blackhawks at all. Just glad you didn't switch over to the Flyers when you moved to Jersey.
H#LL NO! I am 15 miles from Manhattan. Can see the GW from my kitchen window. If we stayed in Jersey/NYC area, I would adopt NY Rangers as my 2nd team, different conferences. I will never cheer AGAINST my hometown.
My buddy bucks the system and will put some of the Nugget in his basement and drink in a year or two!
That's one interesting fridge you got there. I assume the beer is being held between two condensing units?
Daaamn this double rye ipa is insane. FFF!!!
Love that beer. I have a daughter who lives in Tampa. Whenever we go visit her, the first stop is Cigar City.
