Here we go!
Bockor Jacobins Rouge - Flanders Red
Starting with a Brown Shugga tonight. Found one hiding out in my beer fridge. Prolly have some Schlafly AIPA to follow.
TTTTTTWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKK! Thanks to the great guys at Avery. Best Tap Room in the business. That and some vanilla coffee stout(shhhh!) and a few others.
I eat there a lot actually. Good pizza and grinders. I worked behind there from 2005 - 2010 @ Lynch Arena driving the Zamboni and ate there almost every day. (Small world.lol)
I'm confused. Is this chocolate beer or chocolate milk?
Doin a bit of laundry
1/2 lb medium rare patty, cheddar cheese, fried egg, grilled pineapple, and aioli in between two shipley's glazed donuts. Freakin awesome. What better to go with this than a sixpoint 3beans?
How is that? Sounds tasty!
Local beer out of a Hill Farmstead Growler. Come at me Shaun
Doing homework trying my first Olde School. Tastes amazing! Also loving this new glass.
How does it taste? Bottled in December right? Last one I had was only a week old. I now have a few left just curious before I open one up cheers.
Holy cholesterol that looks amazing.
Started off with a flight at the local spot -- Elysian Dragonstooth, Sixpoint 3Beans, Flying Dog Kujo, and Carton Epitome.
Came home and just opened this
It's pretty good. Lots of chocolate and a batter (flour and vanilla?) on the nose. The taste doesn't deliver as much chocolate as the nose, but it is a nice roasty brown ale. The finish is pure syrup aftertaste. I like that oatmeal raisin cookie more, but could drink this for breakfast every day if given the chance.
Only one tonight, and I'm playing it super safe.
Starting off light....broke into the wife's stash!!!
On to this!! Mmmmmmm!
I swear this glass does enhance the taste.
One eye on the Purdue / Illinois game and the other on my glass to make sure no one takes it!
Huge thank you to beachstrength49 for this FRESH bottle!
(Better than fabric softener - It'll make your laundry smell better too!)
Many thanks to oldp0rt for this excellent beverage. cheers!
Ahhh, that Immort Ale is but a fading memory now...
I got the last two at a local spot. Deciding how long I should wait till the other gets cracked. Bottle says to drink within 90 days, but interested to see what a few months would do to it
haha...you may be more eager than me! but probably not until Saturday at this point...need to SHARE the GREATNESS that is Alpine!
And that is how a meme is born.
2011 KBS....tasting mighty fine.

My wife does the laundry (dinner and the dishes are my gigs, and we split the apartment cleaning).
I have one of those in my beer fridge--good to know.
