Happy valentines day!
Beers before dinner with the gf.
Bout to enjoy my 1st 75 min...
A 12 oz. of Mt. Pleasant Brewing Company's Steam Engine Stout I got on my recent up north beer run.
It is a love-hate beer. I love it, but there are lots of folks that do not. It doesn't quite deliver the Banana bread feel, but it does have a strong banana feel to it.
I'm a huge Star Wars fan, finally getting around to drinking my latest bottle of Imperial Stout Trooper. Figured I'd set it up with the original bottle and the inspiration for the beer Also loving my Funky Buddha snifter!!
Funky Buddha That's the Deal Pale Ale - American Pale Ale APA
Hannsens oude kriek
Schaerbeeske is on the menu. I passed yet again
I am having a delicious Daisy Cutter.
An apparently soured bottle of Sam Adams Thirteenth Hour Stout. Label says notes of spices, coffee, chocolate and oak. I get none of the above.....
That'll make you feel like a Walker at the bottom of the bottle!
Valentine's Day Lobster Rolls with the girlfriend:
Now on to this tasty one:
First time with this one. Enjoying it thoroughly.
Bad a random ipa while it was raining here in flirida(thank god bc we need rain)...then loved into CW BBS 2012 that was amazing and now drinking a chocolate raspberry waiting for pizza to arrive. Planned on doing surf n turf on the grill but the rain made a change in dinner plans. Will follow up with fresh nugget nectar I got today in a surprise box from jaispoann and maybe a BA stout as a nightcap. Calling in sick tomorrow so Don't really have to stop Drinking!
Sierra Nevada fridge clean out seems to be my theme tonight. Started with my last two of these,
Now, I'm night capping with my last two of these,
Started with Captain Lawrence IPA...not impressed. Alcohol is overly apparent
Having an Allagash White now. Great beer. I long for spring as I gulp this light bitch up
Happy Vday Errbody!
Great beverage, and I follow in your sentiments
More Nectar for my lovely wife and some Curmudgeon Old Ale for myself.
I figured this would be appropriate.
Baby is almost asleep, wife and I are about to start date night.
If I'm lucky I won't be posting anymore tonight. Cheers!
Wow first time ever having this and it is by far my favorite beer now. They really need to bring this to Long Island, I may need to start trading so I can get this by the case haha
And the dinner
Before we venture into the wonderful Pinot that is breathing for dinner I will polish off the growler of Beachwood Laurel.
Happy Cupid Day fellow BAer's hope you all get laid tonight !
Samuel Adams Alpine Spring w/ a lobster roll earlier today.
Just finished off one of my favorites ...
Shit pictures, but I've got the Velvet Fog from Sun King. I had to try it, what with the limited canning and all, but it turns out that I'm still way over-sensitive to alcohol in Belgian styles.....comes across like somebody dumped a shot of brandy in my beer. Will find a friend to appreciate the other can for me.
I really enjoy people posting in English in this thread
A great friend put a mix six together for me from her personal stash for my birthday: 2013 Bigfoot, Hopslam, Lot 6 DIPA, Cricket Hill Hopnotic, Stoudts DIPA, and Duck Rabbit Barleywine. Now that is a friend!!!
I was so excited when I saw these glasses for sale - it was the Duvel tulip! The perfect tulip! And unadorned!
Then they arrived...
Lol: They were so tiny-looking!
It's like a 3 oz. difference, I think, but it makes a bigger difference than the just the ounces... Man, Duvel makes a great beer and a great glass.
Hey, whatever - still gonna use 'em.
Heck, it got me two pours out of my Fuller's Vintage Ale.
Just bought a 4-pk of
Central Waters BBBW, and BB peruvian morning
Drinking the BBBW right now this brew is ****ing awesome will open the peruvian morning next
finishing the night with Revolution Eugene
