Pretty good for the style. Score here on BA is a tad low, imo.
Going with only first-try brews tonight - never had any of the brews I picked up today. Starting off with crown valley's big bison ale. Got crown valley's gunslinger DIPA, gulden draak 9000, Samuel smith Yorkshire stingo, Fort Collins double chocolate stout, and the artist formerly known as barbar de Noel, now just barbar bock. Pumped for a night of new brews. Cheers!
This is better than the last time
That's part of the reason why I asked. Glad to hear you liked it.
Drake's Hopocalypse DIPA (White Label). Pretty tasty!
Delicious! GET DAT PREGAME ON!
Some party beats for yallz:
I'm an Innis & Gunn fanboy.
Man I want to try that!!!!
Just had a Greenbush Anger on tap and a bottle of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. Lighting was bad so no pic, but really enjoyed both beers.
I like the pint!
Drinking a palate cleansing Radeberger Pilsner
Listening to Greg Howe -Greg Howe
oops! Just turn the sound off
1st beer of the night. And it doesn't suck!!!
You guys should have never introduced me to sours . . .
Now I'll never have money for retirement hahaha
Always an absolute delight!
Thanks... got it at the Bulldog when visiting New Orleans. On Wednesdays, you keep the pint glass. The other side has the bar logo, but i was pretty smitten with the 5% phrase.
I drank a Kuhnhenn Blueberry Eisbock, Rapsberry Eisbock, a Michigan Mud, a BB4D, and half of the new barleywine. Luckily it took 6 hours.
Some Peche 'N Brett!

all worth it though.. Cheers BAs!
I absolutely love The Used! Great song!
Meh. I have a 2011 KBS with my name on it, though.
Listening to this apocalyptic number:
Old ales rule.
I've been drinking more than my fair share lately - lots of Thomas Hardy and Fuller's Vintage ales (and last week, some North Coast Old Stock, too) - and its been quite some time since I had a Founders Curmudgeon, the very first old ale I ever tried.
So how does it stack up against the big boys from Britain?
(*sips*)... damn. How do they do it?
Now don't get me wrong, the Thomas Hardy 2008 and the Fullers 2011 Vintage have years on them - and its hard to compete with that, but the Founders 2012 Curmudgeon manages to be right there.
Unbelievably good old ale.
Just cracked some more to share with the wife - old picture because my camera died. Honestly all the bottle dates on mine are smeared, the batch number came out fine, but the bottle date is smeared.
port wipeout ipa and sculpin ipa both fresh and going down fast
The Brandy Barreled Quad blew me away, I would love to try that. I really enjoyed the original version of the Dubbel a couple years back when I got to try it.
Get it on!
Just got back from the bar where I had a Funkwerks Bastogne and a Ommegang Art of Darkness. My two favorite American brewers who do Belgian style beers. Win.
A little tasting today, thank goodness my friends were patient enough to let me take photos.
Glad to finally get to try this. Very well done.
Tempting me from the back of my fridge!
My last Narwharl! Truly, my favorite Sierra Nevada brew so far, I will gladly await its return. Cheers, one and all! I hope your Saturday night is a good one! (My apologies for recycling the pic of it.)
When I bought this from the guy at Three Floyds, he said don't age it. So, down the hatch!
That's cool- they really do have to work on that date stamper; I've seen other reports of the same type smearing.
That's one hand I wouldn't mind being dealt. Cheers!
Hard to believe It is only 9:30ish here, guess drinking high abv beers will do that lol. . Fuck it, some 1/28/13 Hopslam is going down!
Good evening BAs! Enjoying my first from this local brewery. Cheers all!
