Noticed your BA handle - a chemistry/beer geek who can say alcohol "in a different language"! Love it!

Peeper. Goddamn this beer is crisp, floral, sunshiney and just fucking lovely. This so perfectly resembles the beer equivalent of those first few scattered days in Spring when the still-crisp air gets and moist and energetic with new tree buds and it feels like you’re seeing the sunshine in a way you forgot you knew.

I realize that probably sounds weird to some of you, but if it does it's just because you have no joy in life anymore and you're probably a horrible human being. Just kidding. But seriously you guys, this beer is like Springtime to me, and when I get that feeling (described above) this is the kind of music I feel compelled to listen to:

(In no way incidentally, No Age is one of my favorite bands.)

Yeah it's an awesome beer and so cool you can buy it so cheap. Did you get to try to Providential Ale? It was a Belgian "Golden Ale" also brewed by Unibroue and was pretty tasty.

Evolution Lot #6 vs. Troegs Nugget Nectar. Figured I will try do a side by side of to fresh local hop bombs. Nugget Nectar is solid and well balanced, but the Lot 6 is more hop forward and has more hop varieties. Would drink either beer any day of the week but I like Lot 6 more. Cheers!

I've had the Providential- definitely tasty. Still a couple bottles in the basement, and we still have a few cases left at the store- plan on brining one home on payday. It's pretty good to be the beer guy at Trader Joes.

Just making some hot chocolate now, to sip while I grade a couple more papers tonight . . . le sigh. Definitely have to work tomorrow. These govt. holidays are almost never applicable, it seems, in the academic environment.

The Flower Power did drink differently to me in the IPA glass than in the tulip I usually use. There were more piney notes than I remember before. It will be interesting to see how differently other IPAs will taste in it. Overall it definitely enhanced my enjoyment of the beer.
