after a busy night at the hospital, this should help me unwind!
Good for you, I'm sure you earned it
new on me. a hair thin but otherwise pretty interesting. its 10% is completely buried:
Bro Down Throw Down at Sam's Quick Shop last night was Epic (capital E)
-Lips of Faith Cocoa Mole, awesome
-Boulevard Grainstorm black rye ipa, holy shoot
-Ovila Quad with plums, really really good
All 3 came with an awesome stemmed glass.
then the bottle sharing began.
-Cigar City Warmer Winter Winter Warmer, pretty good
-I opened my BA Blackout Stout, the winner, oh my god it was so good
-Pere Jacques 2011
then we went to Beer Study
honestly I cant remember what I drank there, but I wasnt driving so it was all good
Last night since I wasn't able to post in it. I really, really loved this beer. Port Brewing rarely steers me wrong. I loved the roasty nutty flavor balanced very well with coffee and chocolate. I also got to christen my new Pizza Port baby snifter.
Mad River Brewing: SteelHead Double IPA
--- Yes, its Morning in Ohio....what's your point?! - I wrk Midnites..Night-time 4 me. LOL ;P
Cantillon Rose 2010
Sweetwater Rye...pretty good. Going to switch to Foothills Hoppium next
Brooklyn Irish Dry Stout. BORING. I'd rather have Guinness, which I also find boring.
I need to try this beer. Sounds delicious.
2009 IRS from Hopslam trade
Right now? Ballast Point Big Eye IPA.
Eeeeeeeeven better than I had expected. yumyum and a perfect way to end a long night at work by greeting the morning
My first Pumpkin Ale, great experience!
Southern Tier Pumking: Very spicy ale with strong notes of cinnamon. Sweet grains and pumpkin backbone. Very smooth body. It's like drinking a pumpkin pie... Lovely stuff...
Cheers from Switzerland!
I've heard this helps clear up the common cold; we'll see.
A bit late as these were unopened before me and 3 of my friends consumed them all last night. One was a wine guy, another didn't drink beer at all but they all LOVED the BCBCS. We also quaffed a couple Sucks and homebrewed coffee stouts. A good time was had by all!
after this lead off hitter:
straight from the on deck circle, now batting:
Hope you feel better soon mate!
Nice beer. Pity about the Swedish lighting. Prost!
A session ipa with a lemony tartness, nice from Smuttynose
Yes, it's more of a gold than the white gold apparent on the picture. I blame my poor quality Samsung phone and the omnipresent darkness this time of year. Delicious beer indeed.
Slow morning at work
drinking this and about to listen to some TIGERS BASEBALL!!! This felt like the perfect beer to have while taking in my first Tigers game of the year. Obviously it's a Michigan beer but also it's a perfect gateway from football and wintertime stouts to baseball and summertime IPAs. Now if only I were drinking this at the game in Florida....
It's noon, the weather is dreary, the wife is out running errands, and the kids are napping. Why not??
A Sam Adams night planned with my sis and bro in law. Spring Thaw pack and a six pack of Double Agent. And a six pack of anchor steam
The set of Barrel aged Papier. Cheers!
Nice! Which is your favorite? I've got the chance to trade for either one and I can't decide.
Everton is leading Norwich, 1-0, and I just picked up this year's iteration of Pretty Things' Lovely Saint Winefride, a roasty, nutty, dark lager that I'm thoroughly stoked to welcome back into my home.
They cropped the label this year so it no longer has the wrap-around image above, but I'm not crying.
Hotter than Helles

Love this brew, wish it was year round.
+1 How were they? Super jealous of that. Trying to build a vertical of all the anny beers.
I think bourbon, they're all good though. Sippers. About 25 people got a taste of each so that's pretty cool.
Flower Power, first time....man this is a treat. I know I'm new to craft beers, but I can't help but have the feeling of "what the hell was I doing with my life".
Best. Avatar. Ever.
Pappy dark lord and bourbon 2012 dark lord.
Some of this excellent brew on a dreary Saturday afternoon.
Even my wife, a non-beer enthusiast liked it.
BA church on a hill. Love this one, it's underrated. Thanks Jbuddle!
