2011 La Folie tastes like Jesus.
Lagunitas sucks brown sugga substitute Bought it at a local drug store of all places with one helluva selection of craft beer I haven't had pliny or heady yet but this is pretty damn good
Having a Stone Saison du Buff from last year that I forgot was in my fridge. Actually think it tastes better than the two I had when I first got them last year.
After years of avoiding it due to more serious beer lover proclaiming it to be bland, so now I must concur. I was really hoping I'd like it since I have nothing but respect for New Belgium.
Gettin' my hops in with this new beast! Lovin' it, so far. Excellent balance between bitterness and hoppiness. Nice malt representation. My kinda DIPA. Cheers on a cold and rainy Tuesday!
Went in to check out a different bottle shop today ended up leaving with a Stone Enjoy By 04.01.13 and a Pliny The Elder! Needless to say I am excited to get home!
just started snowing here a bit ago...
time for my first Plead the 5th and a little light reading
Dark Horse Plead the 5th, followed closely by some Double Crooked Tree.
Cleared 7inches off the drive- reward time......
I love this beer.
I still have 5-6 bottles left. They're still drinking well after ~3 weeks.
Oaked Arrogant Bastard, there is complex and then there is this... Well done Stone! Cheers!
Enjoying my friend's outstanding DIPA (a top rated beer for me!), and then
a Short's Aorta Double Red Ale to follow (whatever that is) .
A strong ale with a high IBU (and before you flame me, I get the touchiness
of the IBU rating) which they bill at and astonishing 127 IBU! So the malt
should mask this initially, but I expect/hope for one heck of an hop echo. We'll see.
Don't have a clue about the giant aorta jumping out of the curtains, but hey,
a giant aorta it is! Cheers!
Waiting for the oncoming snow enjoying everyone's favorite canned beauty... Thank goodness for the increased production up there. Cheers all!
Love Great Lakes, haven't tried that one yet though. Which William S. Burroughs book are you reading?
I spotted some Great Divide Denver Pale Ale at my neighborhood packy, which doesn't typically carry Great Divide, so I thought I'd give it a try. It's a pretty solid pale in the English manner, nicely fruity and an easy drinker, so that's good... but I mostly bought it as an encouragement to the owner to start stocking other Great Divide brews as well.
To yer health, folks!
That there is Junky.
I'm about to crack open a KBS from last year.. it's been raining like crazy all day.. cheers!
Another very delicious beer from Samuel Smith.. overwhelmed
At work drinking a Furious
My ladyfriend has not been feeling, well she's been out all week.
Today she is a-okay and I'm going to go hard seeing as I don't need to take care of her.
Quick stop at the store(s) yielded well but tonight I'm going to go with a lineup of the following:
Stone Mint Chocolate Imperial whatever stout...
2013 Bigfoot (First Ever)
My last and final Sucks.
Whatever else I can venture up to post that and some baked goodies after dinner.
Really in the mood for one of these tonight! Cheers!
Mmmmmmmmm. Liquid campfire.
Now enjoying the shit out of a Short's Goodnight Bodacious.
Listening to some Pusha T:
LAGUNITAS MAXIMUS IPA....................................
Homebrewed Bourbon American Stout. And the master of symphonic angst to enjoy it with.
Came home to a box at the door in the snowstorm with these two gems in it. I couldn't resist.
Moving on to a Uinta Labyrinth now. Can't believe I've waited this long to try this beer!
Cracking open beer #100 tonight to review. Thanks Dru!

Calming the nerves b4 tip off.
Hoo Hoo Hoosiers!
Bourbon County Cherry Rye
Mine has been more sour and lactobacillus driven. Although I am going to be culturing Cantillon dregs in the near future for my own brews.
Okoboji Brewing - Boji Beach
I wish I could like this twice. One for the beer and one for the song!
