MY FIRST EVER PLINY
MY FIRST EVER KBS
has your palate reached heaven?
did not know this was world class when i bought it... I love these kind of finds. cheers!
Finishing my Growler of Double Fistin' IPA.
Edward. First time. 1000 am. Couldn't wait.
Now I'm sipping on another Odell Deconstruction Golden Ale hoping I like it more than I did when I first had it. I love Odell but I'm still not a fan of Deconstruction.
What I drank last night
The lineup for this morning
New Belgium Rampant Imperial IPA. Weird flavours from the hops. Do I detect a watermelon like flavour? Yes I do and that doesn't please my palate at all.
This one is very delicious...
The wife and kids are napping, and I am trying a new beer.
Waiting for the Bruins/Lightning to start
Troges Nugget Nectar. I used to not like this for some reason so I thought I'd give it another shot. Glad I did cause now I really like it. Weird.
Drinking local; some Doggie Style Classic Pale Ale by Flying Dog.
On vacation, drinking Jai Alai. It is almost frightening to think that this beer is an affordable every day option for people in Florida.
needed some coffee
Short's Tap Takeover (the other night) (beers all shared w/ the wife)
Saison du Short's
PB&J (not pictured)
Now I'm drinking an Alpha King while playing Halo 4.
Just opened a FFF Pride and Joy delicious mild will keep more of this in the fridge as spring approaches
How is the Abnormal Genius? I am heading up to michigan in april. Def want to check out the Tap Room.
I didn't like it. It was really nutty (prob from the sunflower seeds) and sweet. Pretty thick too. It wasn't my thing.
The Michigan Tap Room is a very cool place. A must stop if you're in the area. They just added more taps and are up to 24 MI taps and 2 out of state "Guest Taps" now. Shoot me a BM when you come to town and I'll buy you a beer.
Berkshire Rasberry barleywine
Going hard again, huh?
Deschutes Black Butte 24
Don't ask me why I am listening to this.
Iso Big bird thingy !
Did a side by side
Oak smoked was good just not the whole bomber.
A first of this, today. On the greater side of very good, I think.
Under-experienced, too. Love that amarillo! Fresh as all
The artwork... another problem entirely.
Love this beer.
That's great, I remember seeing a story on Richard Feynman years ago
that dealt with his travels to Tuva to hear that style of throat singing. It's
hard to believe the human voice is capable of that range.
I'm chilling with a SNPA out of the bottle.
2011 Speedway stout from the cellar. The coffee has subsided quite a bit, leaving just a lingering sensation of jalapeno/tobacco on the finish. The stout itself is drinking extremely smooth, full of chocolatey goodness with no hint of the 12% ABV anywhere. The only safe way to drink this one is at home...
Solid start to the day, fellow beer lover. My first experience with KBS was pretty mind blowing. What a beer.
Trying to decide what to crack open, or to maybe hold off for a little while. Pens-Canadiens tonight, I dont want to be asleep before that goes down haha. Although I did just pick up a few tasty beers that Im looking forward to cracking..........life is full of difficult decisions!
A little over a month old? I'll take it. Damn I wish bottle dates were a requirement.
The kids are up and I am moving on.
One of these:
Then the other one. Then a couple more.
Determined to get a better appreciation of the style this weekend!
Some Founders Porter.
One kid is asleep; the other is playing quietly.
Time to head for the Third Coast. Inspired by Chickenhawk9932 - Cheers!
