Last beer of the night
Bourbon County Rare in my Terrapin snifter
Last beer of the night for him , first beer of the morning for me. Working nights has its payoff sometimes
Beer #2 is much much better , makes me want to keep on going , Cheers all
Whatever the professor brings!! I love my microbrewing class!!!
Wake n bake
Thanks woodchopper for this great brew the balance between the bourbon and coffee is spot on.
Love that glass.
FFF Dreadnaught IPA and FFF Permanent Funeral!
Steve the next time I get around some of these glasses I'll grab a few extras. When I got mine it was from the first shipment and they were limited. I can get all I want now, I'd be glad to send you one.
Not from this morning, but technically it was past midnight. I don't remember if I posted this one yesterday. But a buddy and I opened up my one bottle of Doom and it was tasty. Not my absolute favorite, but reminds me a lot of White Oak Jai Alai but more intense- makes sense as this is a DIPA. But not a ton of bourbon. Plenty of barrel though.
Pre-NFL Draft mid-day selection, been watching NFL Network for days now.
(Lunch): Buffalo Wings, Hot Sauce and this solid beer:
I definitely agree with the White Oak Jai Alai comparisons, but I also got a lot of bourbon, especially as it warmed. Either way it was really good. I think I'm going to enjoy you in our tasting group!
I'll be cracking Toppling Goliath PseudoSue when I get home, so that's what I'm drinking now.
That's one Cantillion I haven't had
by the way, just bought a 6 pack of this and not thrilled. It's ok, just not my type of IPA,
too malty and sweet. Guess I was just curious and pumped to see a South Carolina craft brewery
on the shelf. Oh well, every purchase can't be a whale or world class, that is the fun of my craft beer journey.
is that the recent release of 50n4e?
had a 2011
I'll need to get back to writing later. In the meantime, why not have a beer?
Nah, batch 1 courtesy of totoropanda
Red Hook: Audible Ale..
ehhh, not (Too) bad, kinda extremely "light" though..I've def. had worse. I'd even drink/buy it again (MAYBE), it was a Hot commodity around my neck of the woods - hard to get?
Ehh... why not?
I was extremely Disappointed w/ this offering from Sam Adams...sorry (MY) opinion.
As promised. I was...disappointed. I guess I expected a pale ale on the same level as Jai Alai or Zombie Dust, and that's definitely not what I got. It was not bad, but I think I prefer SNPA to it.
Starting off right with a Great Lakes Alchemy Hour Double IPA & some grilled vegetable pizza for lunch. Goddamn, this beer is good.
Another one thanks to woodchopper.
Jade Saison while I wait for them to box up my bottles.
You like this one?
Started the day with a Central Waters BB Barleywine, an moved on to this. I think one more should get me to fall asleep for this evening flight to Nashville.
Funky buddha passionfruit berliner.,.or should i say nectar from the gods?
Damn thats a bit of a bummer. I'll probably open it up tonight along with some ZD and see how that goes. I've heard the same that this brew can hold its own with other big citra pale ales.
And I agree I'm looking forward to joining you guys in the tasting group. May not be for a while but we will see!
WV's own Mountain State Amber Ale
Very, very much so.
Had another one of these. Final one from the six-pack I bought ... this last one tasted breadier than I remember the beer being.
Planning on this lineup later tonight:
Whalez for lunch? No big deal...
