3/3/14 drinking quite nicely. Great to be reunited with an old friend
Finally gave a big speech today that had been taking all my time so it called for a lineup like this one:
First, Nugget Nectar
Then, Ommegang Adoration
Followed by Founders Imperial Stout
Then to finish off, never can go wrong with an Aventinus
Popped open a bottle of Founders Smoked Porter. Very smokey. Would pair nicely with a nice juicy steak or some brisket. It is tasty but I prefer the regular Porter especially when you factor in the price. Glad I was able to taste it though.
Went out for dinner. Had Off Color's Apex Predator, Old Chub on nitro, Expedition Stout, and a pour of Abner, with this awesome Chicken and Waffle BLT sandwich..
Now home with this lil one with my lil one...
awesome! brand new?
New for me; released at the end of Feb I think.
MBCO Weez in a Simon Pearce Tulip. MBCO is starting to make up for all those Pugsley "Ringwood" breweries and brewpubs in ME. Just vile stuff.
Beer #1 today at Siesta Key Beach:
Then Jai Alai on tap at the SKOB:
Nice winter warmer here for what will probably be our lady dip into the 50s. Cheers!
Was planning on opening my bottle when I get home from work tonight. Now you've got me thinking I should pick up a steak on the way...
Long and bad day at work and now i have a beer telling me what to do...
Earlier at Man Cave de Senor Hank in Spring-like weather...
2nd bottle I've cracked and I can say Marshall 5 is wicked good. We actually started with SN Fresh Hop, but I couldn't find my phone at the time...it was in Hank's beer fridge! LOL!
Big Foot requires no introduction.
Sprung a Sublimely Self-Righteous on Hank. He was diggin' it.
We were livin' in the 60s with Jimi...
Another great stout arrives in New Hampshire. We have come so far in my almost 4 years on BA.
Its nice to see I'm not the only one that keeps the Yamaha in reach @ all times...
12 oz can of Liquid Hero Irregardless IPA, poured into a Flying Fish Brewing Co. pint glass
Do it... There is a good BBQ joint in my town. Every sip makes me want to drive down there.
right now? that bastard always tastes good! enjoy...
Love the glass...
Since the one I had at the bar was definitely watered down on two buck pint night, having one of these out of the bottle to restore my taste buds while grilling for the second day in a row of this heat wave before it hits 35°!
Of course, this weather does not:
And celebrating my new keezer conversion project (means I can brew again finally with a ferm chamber!)
So I drank it so fast that this is the only pic I got. Hop Juju!
Found this on the shelf, so guess it'll be one of these for now...
Mmmmm, i presume you're talking about ten fidy?
Both of these were randomly gifted to me by a coworker. It's not something I'd ever buy, but it's also not bad. A solid C+
My first Hop Stoopid in a very long time, cheers!
Beer review #707. Goose Island Honker's Ale.
Started with Yellowhammer tap takeover at the local pizza joint.
And then a flight with their IPA, Dark Hammer, Saison, and 1819 Dubbel.
Back home now with a trade extra for desert...
Cheers, BA. Been a couple years since I have bought this...
While that too is tasty, some fresh Undercover!
Didn't even realize it was out yet although I am 25 minutes from the brewery.
Natural sun block. That's the way to go.
I have ALWAYS hated that song, but Everlast just KILLS IT!! 10X better than the original!
There's only one thing that sucks about this beer
Spring seasonal. Damn Otter Creek, you need to make this a year around brew. In cans. 12 packs. Thanks.
Earlier somebody asked if BA could recommend similar beers based on what you're drinking. Untappd just listed Dale's Pale Ale as a "Similar" beer. Fail
Founders Imperial stout.
Productive day, second day near 80! ( nice while it lasted ), smoked some ribs & now on to a Dead Armadillo Amber.
Enjoying the latest from Weyerbacher.
This Belgian DIPA is right up my alley. I wish I had picked up more than a 4 pack on my visit to the brewery this past weekend.
