Yes it has! Hit my area last week.
Had Troegs Perpetual IPA for the first time. A real nice, flavorful, drinkable IPA. Would definitely have it again. Only had two. Gotta rest myself for the debauchery that is my in-laws Italian Xmas eve extravaganza.
Bottle number three of Anderson Valley Winter Solstice. I have one more in the fridge and then it's on to a St. Bernardus Abt 12 to end the night
't Smisje Great Reserva - Brouwerij Smisje
An odd Russian imperial stout (as per the bottle) or is it a Belgian strong dark ale (as per BA)?
Whatever it is, it's aged in cognac barrels. It's not black, like a RIS, so I dunno what the hell it is.
It was something I had never seen, sounded interesting...let's see what it's like when it warms up.
Awesome...I am on the lookout for this.
Had this twice before. Awesome, but nowhere near Rochefort 10. Not worth the price. I have a glass and a bottle to spare...
Not a bad night for a first post:
The Abyss, The Perfect Crime and a decent local brew Cincinnatus
The night evolves...into a candied sugar, citrus, malt bomb.
Loving it. Not quite as good as CCB Warmer Winter Winter Warmer, but way easier to get near me. (Though I did totally ground score a 2011 CCB Warmer Winter Winter Warmer last night.)
Damn this beer is perdy!
and a two'fer on the tunage since it took me a while to update my review and some goodies came on my shuffle
I got these for tonight:
Found an old dusty Yulesmith burried in the stash. Can't find a date on this but it must have at least two or three years on it. Hops have faded and what remains is basically a barleywine, which is just fine by me on this cold, wet evening.

49ers getting beat up. I guess Pete Carroll's going to notch one against his nemesis tonight.
This is all I want for Xmas...
I'm a fan. Kind of subdued for a DIPA, but very good.
Much better than the garbage MTV is currently exporting from the state.
Kicking off my Sunday night with a Schlafly - Winter ESB......pretty tasty
I didn't like their regular Wee Heavy and I certainly am not enjoying the bourbon aged version of it.
I am done with Hale's Ales beers
Glad you said that. Bought a bottle of Rochefort 10 for Xmas night. Needed something to drink after dealing with stupid family, and I've always wanted to try that beer.
Taking a barleywine off. Super razzleberry
Back to one of my favorites!!
and some dead soldiers in the background!!
starting to really enjoy these farmhouse ales...
Damn...this is a really really solid brew.
You're doing it right.
Mikkeller Double Eye PA. Considering the immense size, it actually holds together pretty well.
woah! Didn't know FF saw 375's at one point! Cool!
Time to finally start on these . . .
Think I'll be working my way left to right. Saved the Old Fezziwig Ale to begin my Christmas Eve.
GI Christmas Ale might be next. Any suggestions?
Go straight at He'Brew Sweet 16.
You guys have me looking forward to the bottle of Perpetual I have!
Dark Horse Perk Coffee Doppelbock
Went to stock up for Christmas and finally found this:
One of my all-time Favorites!
My girlfriends sister got me this as an early Christmas present (one of my all time favorites, so damn good)
so I'm drinking it now to celebrate the inevitable Seahawks win
Daisy is also stoked on the Seahawks win.
HEY ALL YOU PEOPLE AROUND THE USA, DON'T SLEEP ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM UP HERE IN SEATTLE AKA SOUTH ALASKA. THE SEAHAWKS WILL TAKE ANYBODY ANY DAY!!!!!!
my buddy from CO is in town and stopped by so we had a few heady toppers (thanks franklinn!) and a cherry adam from the wood (AMAZING)...now relaxing with Bourbon Big Sound (thanks brewbetter!)
Santa is looking a little tipsy, hopefully he isn't too hungover to make his rounds tomorrow night.
Founder's Imperial Stout
Started this afternoon with stone 12/12/12 vertical epic, then this evening started with hibernation ale and now drinking 12 dogs of Christmas with some pumpoint bread- best winter warmer I know of
Age the spare it is better with a year or two on it anyways. Or you could just send it to me
I'm drinking Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout, and I'm playing with the Seeeduino Mega my brother gave me for Christmas. Now that I've figured out how to load a program, it's blinking out SOS while I try and figure out how to refer to various input and output lines, and set up interrupts. These are the first steps in getting back into a hobby that I've been neglecting for 10 years.
What activities or projects are you working on while drinking beer?
Love the glass. I really dig mini pint glasses. Gonna have to grab me one when they come back in stock!
Back to our barleywine night . Dont sleep on PW this is great
