Moving on to a Westmalle Tripel - it's been a little while since I've opened up one of these and I am immediately reminded why this is one of my favorite tripels. Cheers.
With some good music....
What IS that in the background?
Victory Hopdevil, even if the Cowboys didn't get the victory themselves.
Next, a fantastic beer thanks to brewbetter...
And if you don't know this man, listen and recognize!!!
That would be my greatest garage sale victory to date.
That explains nothing, and everything.
Damn good imperial stout, maybe my favorite, definitely the best for the money.
I see you're in Germantown. I'm from Silver Spring. Sweet to be back in the playoffs. Funny thing is, I land in Dallas for Business Weds; don't think my presentations ice breaker, hey how about that Redskins game will go over well hahaha.
Tonight features a bottle of Upright Six, soon to be followed by a Pretty Things Our Finest Regards dated November 2011.
2010 Cascade Kriek. Hella acetic.
I wish you could experience this gem the way I do...
...and it morphs into a dancing set of beer mugs. Jealous?
2010 Victory Dark Intrigue
At least the Cowboys didn't win.
I fixed that for you.
A little bit
Enjoying a Fathead Headhunter IPA and trying to decide what to drink tomorrow night! Cheers!
Opened up a Velvet Merlin I found in the fridge yesterday.
Only one more of these left from my trip to Brewery last month...but I'm going to enjoy it while I can. Cheers.
I just drank half of a Affligem Noel and... didn't think too highly off it honestly. Little boozy and the spices were off.
Smuttynose Durty (Brown I.P.A. dry hopped w/Simcoe)
Back East Imperial I.P.A.
Smuttynose Big A I.P.A. W/ Dinner
During Cowboys/Skins game:
GI Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout
Noel blows, man. Had it the last three years.
Merlin is gone.
I'm having an Ithaca Cascazilla. It is a hoppy amber which I really like.
Ithaca is a good brewery and I need to drink more of their stuff.
Early on, someone gave me one of their Apricot Wheat beers.
I hated it. Prevented me from trying their stuff. However, between this beer and Flower Power im becoming a fan.
Now I'm working on a brown shugga
If it blows, why all 3 years?
Wolf 9 by Brouwerij Lupus, now Brewery Wolf.
Can't judge a beer if you only try it once, right?
The exact reason why I did a triple bock vertical!
You are a glutton for punishment.
Silent movie Sundays!
Watching the hoodlum (1919) and drinkin a green flash double stout!
Boneyards RPM IPA
lol. I'm one of the few who enjoyed it. '94 and '95 were great IMO. '97 sucked.
After cracking open my first Pliny last night, changing gears and going Trappist tonight. Starting lower and working my way up
Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was me being spoiled by some of the Belgian style brews I've been having lately (had my first St. Bernardus Christmas and it shot to the top of favorite winter beers) or if it just wasn't that good in general. Sadly, I didn't even want to drink it tonight but opened my fridge and realized I never moved my Oak Chocolate Yeti in there, heh.
2012 Eclipse Elijah Craig 12. This stuff is amazing and is now officially my favorite barrel aged stout to date.
