Trappistes Rochefort 10.
Going to have to jump on board with ya! Great beer!
Opened a Life and Limb 2 that I'd been cellaring. Very nice, but the syrupy taste got to be a little much, so I'm blending it 1:1 with SNPA. Perfection!
Wife surprised me with Belgian waffles this morning. Belgian themed beers for New Year's Day only seemed appropriate. Cheers!
My first ever BCBS! It's the only one I have. Warming it up for the Rose Bowl. GO BADGERS!
Just cracked open a magnum of Our Special Ale from Anchor Brewing (the granddaddy of them all) in preparation for the Rose Bowl.
Happy New Year. Go Stanford. And in case you missed the Rose Parade* here's audio from The Credibility Gap:
(scroll forward for parade coverage, which starts at about 4:35 - enjoy)

Love this Yeti!
First time with this one...exceptional!!
Decided to open up the Sam Adams winter pack I got as a Christmas gift. Trying one I haven't had before...
I kinda like it...Cheers!
Started out with Bourbon County Brand Stout, and now I am having Backwoods Bastard. LOVE both of these beers.
Sorry for your loss.
Continuing my Beer of Fame Tick-Fest. Tripel Karmeliet is #60.
Stay classy, GameCocks.
First beer of the New Year!
Ha ha ha! Yeah, it was a very entertaining game, but the end was disappointing. Enjoy the great brews celebrating your victory over my big Blue. Love this site for the fact we can huddle over some wonderful stuff and still have some enjoyable banter on the side.
Happy New Year BA. Avery DuganA IPA is my first beer of the new year while watching some bowl games.
Starting New Years Day off with on of my favorites. Here's to another year of drinking good brew and kicking ass.
Doing the same thing for the Rose Bowl I did for the Big Ten title game, starting with double barreled New Glarus!
It was a great game, wasn't it?
On to the Rose Bowl. Go Badgers!
Now about half way through this.
Not liking it quite as much as I did the first time I had it, but it's good and creates a pretty impressive head.
Starting off the new year with this.
About to embark on my first ever BCBS....can't wait. Just smelling this, the aroma is intoxicating. The flavor even more so...sweeter than I anticipated but love it.
Picked up by a friend, during their trip to Nebraska.
First time trying this. Not very impressed as it is flat with no cabination. No date on the can but I assume that it is past its time. Cheers!!!
First beer of 2013. Watching the Rose Bowl. Go Stanford!
Rough Day.... Wake N Bake should help...
Ommegang Three Philosophers. Leading up to this, I had a Ruination (cherry popper for 2013) then a West Coast IPA. Just made a killer seafood bisque. Gonna go chow now....
Happy New Year!
St. Bernardus Christmas ale...
deliberately NOT drinking local today. Instead, drinking one of the best from the retail store:
First beer of 2013 and first time enjoying this local brewery from a can. Happy 2013!
It probably was way past its prime. I love Caldera when it's in its prime. I'd recommend retrying it!
We were going to do all Stout's Day, but decided to throw this in the mix. Good beer to mix in!
Loving the live descent towards intoxication
Oh man! We're trying to take it slow, but it's very hard to do!
Just finished a great dinner the Mrs made for New Years. Blackeyed
Peas with stuffing and BBQ pork ribs -
If you people are enthusiastic about drinking right now, you obviously didn't do something right last night.
Enjoying a Flying Dog Double Dog. First time with this one and its pretty damn good
