This is called winning.
So that's the proper glass? Well, I've got one nearly that shape- but it has Yosemite Sam on it. I'll have to break it out if I ever get me a bottle.
Palate Wrecker nom nom so fresh!

Came back from a business trip today, so first thing setting foot back on the home soil I made a
This just in . . . WELCOME to Wisconsin Green Flash
Old faithful for the wife.
Old faithful for me . . . good this stuff is good!
And last but not least, had to pay homage to at a minimum of one local. Truly one of the best, yet underrated Nut Brown's.

An Aecht Rauchbier. The Urbock I believe. Smells and tastes like smoked meat.
Do you know any Crunkcore songs?
Two nights in a row...love this beer. Pulling for my Aggies and catching a buzz with some tasty suds...life is good. Cheers...!
Boulevard Dark Truth Stout
A pretty tasty stout with some Tom Petty
The whole is not greater than the sum of the parts.
I like your taste in beer...and music.
No Sucks 'round here yet, but I know a place that just tapped a keg of G'Night for growler sales- I'm sure that'll keep me happy in the meantime. One of my faves from OB.
I'm revisiting another old fave tonight-
and it's drinking mighty fine. I must make a mental note not to keep passing this one over, it's great with less than a month on it...
Now onto a SKA Modus Hoperandi.
Just fired down a delightful Affligem Blond.. The first beer pulled from my newly started collection.
I have the beer collecting bug.. It's dangerous..
Had a bourbon slush before dinner, but since then I've been enjoying a bottle of Hoppyum while watching the Cotton Bowl (go OU, I guess?) but it's been doing right by me. Review to come in a few minutes, still working out some notes.
The short of it is: Hoppyum is an under-the-radar solid IPA and a great value, fresh. Not everyone raves about it, but if I lived in NC I'd be proud of it.
Just had some Over-the-Rhine Ale from Christian Moerlein, whose beers I've quite enjoyed lately.
Definitely not a typical American pale ale, but still very solid.
While reading about my Cleveland Browns head coaching search.
First time with this brew, bought last night...I see at least one sixer in my immediate future
Dear lord, this is tasty
As instructed, Ok! Let's party!!
Repost, I accidentally deleted it for god knows what reason.
So this has been my longest want. I even went so far as to posting my entire cellar for trade two years ago for a single bottle even though the reviews kind of suck. Finally. Finally, I'm trying it. Its glorious! Well the experience mostly. Its a good beer and a very unique/different BA stout, but it has some faults. A real highlight of my beer drinking career!
And now some tunage!
Seriously, every January I'm hitting the gym; watching what I eat; enjoying hefes instead of stouts; avoiding pornography; being kind; thinking positive; and working harder.
By December, I don't know what a gym is; I destroy whole pizzas alone; I'm pounding bourbon barrel stouts; I have calluses; I hate everyone I see; I'm sure the world is going to end; and I need a vacation from all the bullshit.
These months are separated by one day.
Drinking a hoppy farmhouse ale from a new brewery here while watching the Cotton Bowl...Cheers BAs ~
Day two, same brew.
B double E double R U N, BeerRun...damn song is stuck in my head now. Thanks!
Here ya go: Foothills Hoppyum IPA, as tasted by yours truly. Yummo.
Beer from danedelman, glass from bstyle, and opener from brabander

Dan this is my favorite Jew Brew so far. The bottle says this is like Duchesse De Borgone but I say it makes Duchesse look pedestrian at best. To me DDB is overly vinegary, this is very balanced between sourness and fruitiness. I'm picking up hints of cherry and raspberry switching to a sourness with a slightly acetic character that leads to a clean finish. About 30 seconds after I swallow the malt base comes back into play with a biscuit note that I find very attractive. Bravo Dan, this is phenomenal.
4balance! What's up, man! Long time, no post. How's the Prairie? I've been wanting to try their stuff for a while now, it all sounds great and right up my alley.
Ommegang Three Philosophers. Enjoying the bit of cherry, mot overpowering.
That's a song? I feel like the world makes a lot more sense now.
Saison night - Goose Island Sofie followed by Boulevard Tank7.
Good to see you! How's life treating you? This Prairie is quite surprising, crisp and refreshing. Maybe we can work up a trade soon, I'm just getting back in the groove! So glad to be back drinking good brew with the best BAs on the planet! Cheers bro ~
just finished a nice bomber of big bad baptist. great coffee aroma and flavor. not much whiskey, but a really satisfying bottle.
Lagunitas Sucks in my glass
Big Bad Baptist:
...batch 1 and it is tasting mighty fine (sweet pic, right?)
And some hetty jams:
NG Coffee Stout to start the night. Yet another solid NG brew
Had a couple of tasty brews on-tap at our local watering hole: ST Unearthly and He'Brew Jubelation Sweet 16. Came home and grabbed a Brown Shugga to watch the remainder of the Cotton Bowl.
Ommegang Abbey Ale
One of my all time favorites!
