My first 50/50 stout. Not too bad!
Just got back from seeing this:
Tarantino did it again. Another great one.
Would love to see them make a happy medium using these two. WnB is too much coffee for me. Your mix looks delish!
An awesome IPA!
About to open this. Batch #3 2008.
Loved that film. I could've done without the behind the scenes look at Jamie Foxx's man stuff though.
Yeah, i agree. IMHO I feel like W-n-B was just a bit much. Moo Hoo is a bit too thin. When W-n-B is tempered by the Moo Hoo, it really made it nicely drinkable and enjoyable.
If you can, try them mixed. You'll appreciate the synergy.
Good call, I live in ATL and can get both easily and have done that many times. The mix reminds me of FBS with less smoke and tobacco
Sipping on a Goose Island Mild Winter. Couldn't decide if I wanted to go light and hoppy or thick and stouty tonight and this is actually a not too bad middle ground.
sick glasses and table
thank goodness those are low ABVs or this could lead to Trouble (note the capital T).
picked this one up while in NC.
Bell's - Winter White Ale...i'm not wild for wits but this one is fairly good.
doing a little fridge cleaning and i figured this would be the fastest way to do it. cheers!!
Yes I tried Insanity for the first time last week, courtesy of jzeilinger!
yet another style I am not formally known to do! I have to look that one up for sure!
AWESOME song choice
WnB is far too coffee upfront when fresh. I've got plenty sitting around, letting it age so that the coffee mellows out some. The mix, however, works.
Night Shift Citranation, fresh from the growler!
Yeah the table should probably have its own BA account. Lots of love. And yes, low ABV is great. I wanted to open a BCBS coffee but Dan was responsible and said no. There's always tomorrow. And next weekend!
Winding down with a little Samuel Adams Cream Stout, an old standby. And listening to Alice in Chains, also an old standby. Cheers everyone.
Victory Red Thunder... Think that I'm going to have to buy some more of this before it disappears. Great taste and a good price for an oak aged beer.
Finishing up with this.
This is seriously a delicious porter. Yummy!
Cheers ladies and gentlemen!
Shared this with a co-worker tonight. A bit harsh at first, but really smoothed out as it warmed.
Now sipping on my last Jubelale.
Drinking this as well.
And now I will be listening to this song so repeat post/picture.
Friday Beer O'clock! Cheers!!
Firestone Walker - Velvet Merlin
Single father of 4?? I can't even imagine that... Big cheers and huge respect to you Sir!
I've had a palate wrecker, brown shugga, java stout, night stalker, and now drinking on a zombie dust. Special thanks to the brother and law for the 3 Floyd's glassware!
SN Ruthless Rye!! 12 pack for $13.99
Having some Ommegang Hennepin watching this
I have not travelled much, but I was in Seaclose Park that day in 2010. I keep looking for myself in the sea of people....
New Belgium Abbey. Loving the maltiness on this one. Almost chocolate-covered-cherry-like. I'm surprised that this brew isn't part of their Lips of Faith series.
Dogfish Head - Theobroma
Moving on to this:
Really tasty beer from a style that usually doesn't agree with me. Loving the spices and overtones of lemon.
Buy it up before someone else does, good stuff there.
