One of the best beers I've ever had. Absolutely amazing.
I had my friends friend send us some last year!
Drinking beer in the car I see...
Prettiest looking beer and best mouthfeel Ive ever had in a beer. Fantastic stuff. Im sitting on a couple 2012s as well as 2010s and 2011s. Gonna be a great vertical when I finally decide to crack it.
Please allow me to adjust my pants....
as do I. awesome beer.
Now drinking the best beer in the world!...according to the new ratings
Pretty good beer from Scotland. It isn't amazing, but it is still good. It also appears to have been brewed in 2009.
Please do! I'm pretty sure I can't get it where I am.
My wife and I are celebrating our Anniversary tonight in style. Whatta woman and here's to another (19) years (and beyond)! Prost everyone!
How to rid your palate of milk-stout taste:
Aecht Schlenkerla Eiche
I just wish I could buy it locally, I love Brauerei Heller-Trum's beers
Got lucky and "found" another one of these at the store today...
...so i says, why the hell not...because you never know when your next beer may be your last!
How is this one??
I think the only beer that rivals this in appearance is Ten Fidy. But this is 10x better than Ten Fidy.
Call me crazy, but that is my favorite coffee beer that I have had.
Ballast Point Victory at Sea 2012
AND A VERY BIG PROST! May I ask how this is?
Boy! Poverty sure does SUCK, doesn't it, Lewis??!!!!!
LA Brandy BA The Angel's Share
Keegan Ales Joe Mama's Milk
Hill Farmstead Twilight of the Idols
Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy
Epic Big Bad Baptist
Cantillon Lou Pepe Kriek 2008
Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus 2011

Now I'm just having a FIS...
Westbrook Second Anniversary Release, Cap'n Skoon's Ballistic Stout. RIS brewed with lager yeast. Doesn't live up to the Forst Anniversary Stout (Mexican Cake) but its tasty!
Its great. Aroma gives a slight cherry flavor which gets hidden among the chocolate.
Started the day with a Dogfish Head Robert Johnson's Hellhound On My Ale on tap at one of my local beer stores. Enjoyed it so much I bought a bottle to drink at home and review later. No pic for now...
Allister! Blast from the past. I may be getting on an old school drive thru records kick thanks to that.
Sipping on this while cooking my parents some dinner:
Probably the best non-barrel aged stout in my opinion. Fucking love this stuff.
And listening to:
OK, now all of us here in PA are now looking at our watches every few minutes and asking our local distributors, "Is it here yet?"..........."Is it here yet?"........."And now?".......OK, I'll shut up........................."Is it here yet?"
'96 Vapeur Cachonne:
It's surprisingly good:
Once I got home I popped open something I've been meaning to try for a while. Pretty damn tasty.
And I just wish I could get it in NY. I've never had Hopslam . . . but I'm very excited for Palate Wrecker's return, which should be very, very soon.
Looks like some awesome brews will be arriving soon according to this thread: Hopslam, Hoptimum, and Founders IS, all of which I hope to see locally soon. Tonight, enjoying some DFH Burton Baton.
Looking for something with a bit more FUNK than Green Flash Rayon Vert. Any helpful hints?
Now I'm finishing up one from SanFranJake...thanks buddy! Super complex and tasty. Tastes like a barrel aged Sour.
It's a community pool and the servants had the day off today so I had to pour my own beer
Just enjoying some Capt. Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale, which is a really, really solid brew, in my opinion. I'm slowly becoming more and more interested in APAs—not that I didn't enjoy them previously, but I just have usually opted to spend my money and palate on (D)IPAs, scattered varieties of pale Belgian beers, and the occasional Imperial Stout. But in my book, this is a very good APA that shouldn't be overlooked, and a pretty good value (~$10/ sixer in upstate NY).
Orval? Try Stillwater's Premium, if you can get it in your area. Should be about $11/ bomber, and it might be the funkiest motherfucker I've ever drank. Stillwater's Table Beer is somewhat more approachable, but probably equally funky.
Held up much better than expectations!!
Thanks to my buddy (and a helluva mule) LambicKing I am enjoying Heady again now in my fancy new HF glass.
