Karbach Fra*Gee*Lay - really enjoying this....ginger bread cookie with molasses!
My first Little Sumpin' Sumpin'
Where has this been all my life? Delish!
Batch #1 or #2? Had batch 1 a few months back and really dug it, really solid brew. Waiting to crack my batch 2. Cheers!
Rochefort 8 from 2011, really tasty, cheers!!!
Tried the Founders Ginger Lime Ale. Actually, not bad.
Flower power on tap- couldn't resist
Good gawd, I love Chapelle!!! Over Thanksgiving I picked up his "Best Of" on DVD, all classics, I really miss that guy on Comedy Central.
That episode where they were flying the drones thinking they were playing gta had me cracking up. Probably my favorite of the new ones.
Am I drunk or is that the world's smallest Barbie sized brew kettle? (Sh*t, the pint glass is BIGGER!!!)
bourbon notes paired with the classic Old Horizontal recipe = pure deliciousness!
i bought one just to give it a whirl and i shall return to the store and purchase the remaining 11 tomorrow!
how's that for a glowing endorsement?
the Red Thunder i have passed up on multiple occasions but based on your thoughts i will pick one of those up, as well.
Cheers and thank you Victory for reuniting me with my college sweetheart Old Horizontal
The Red Thunder is surprisingly red wine heavy so if you aren't into that you may not agree with me!
Life is Good!!!!
Went with my medium budget standby tonight.
Whats up BA. Been getting back to my not drinking beers Mon-Thur nights, but couldn't resist considering my new Bell's snifter arrived today. Awesome glass, and the beer in it is doing it justice. Just one for me tonight. Cheers!
is it a sour?
I suggest you taste Pliny first, as Heady has a stronger taste. I did this in October and you won't really enjoy the Pliny if you have it after the Heady IMO
I wouldn't say it's sour but it definitely has a ton of red wine character.
Been seeing quite a few of these lately, decided to see what the fuss was all about
It is indeed platter worthy. Cheers
Drinking another Lakefront 25th Anniversary Imperial Stout. Not the biggest fan of theirs or anything (though I do like the IPA on tap/fresh bottles from time to time) so I wasn't expecting much from this, but this is the second one I've had now, and I'm fairly happy with it. Nice use of vanilla, coco nibs (I think?!), and cherry. Thicker than I was expecting too (take notice, Central Waters...).
Well I'm a poor grad student so through the winter we only keep the thermostat set to 60 degrees. So, I'm going to sit next to space heater and open a can of Ten Fidy.
Watching No Doubt on Kimmels show last night and enjoying this..
The Nooge says "All hipsters must perish quickly. But allow this beer to flourish." Well said, Ted.
Happy Wed. BA. Long week so far so why the hell not right? Started out with this bad boy,
Night capping with the last two of these I had in the fridge,
Homebrewed smoked ale.
With the 2013 out now it was time to see how the 2012 were tasting and its dam good !!!!
Moving on, I love this one, glad the stock got refilled today (Thanks teamwiggum!).
Love the pic
Nummy nummy in my tummy
Meh; not bad but not as good as I wanted it to be since the last one I had.
I like that glass. Where did you get it?
sorry to hear that friend...hang in there...can only get better from here.
And a pre-empted Celebration Ale.
I love this beer <3
funniest show of ever always nostalgic about the first time I watched any episode of that show...
Not sure which i tasted first but I am happy to report I enjoyed them both very much. At first I liked the aroma better on the Pliny and the taste on the Heady but with each sip i am more confused. Wish Miss Alabama was here to help me decide. Both great beers and deserving of all the praise.
