Listening to this while enjoying this fine Short's brew:
Fresh Maharaja...beast of a IIPA. One of the best around IMO...
Little hot right out of the gates...give it 6 months or so and things start mellowing out a lot. Just had one the other night and know exactly what you mean.
Cheers ladies and gents!!
Love the glass!
That's the problem. This bottle didn't need more mellowing out. There was no heat at all.
to close out the night. I might also go there for lunch tomorrow. Who knows?!
Gophers win! This 4 pack went to quickly.
Just got done listening to the #8 Golden Gophers defeat the #12 Fighting Illini. in Illinois 84-67. Very happy. Still drinking the Two Hearted.
Where did you get that from?
Wow! What a tasty porter! I'm going to have to go buy a few six packs tomorrow... Cheers!
Coleman was a beast tonight! I'll have what you're having. GO GOPHERS!
Really? The bottle I had the other night was a bit of a bruiser...
Just popped my last Stone Mint Chocolate stout, my special lady friend was dying to try it
I really love this beer, I wish I could find some more .....maybe I'll just have to try and brew one myself.
Having my very first Bells beer.
And its delicious.
Also I want to share a pic of my new rescue doggy. I just adopted her today.
Her name is Annabelle.
Started with a New Glarus Moon Man...
Ending with a Unibroue Grande Reserve 17...
Enjoying Batch number 3 of this beer.
Beautiful dog, that had to have some dachshund in it. Maybe a Beanie (basset weenie)?
Tonight, no pic. Just my first Night Stalker. Very enjoyable. Using it as training wheels for my first BCBS.
1/2/13, this is the freshest I have ever had of this beer and it will only get more awesomer (yeah that is a word, I think) over time.
I enjoy hot beers, so perhaps that's why I was underwhelmed?
Played tennis for two hours. Our team has several home brewers (myself included) and generally share good beer afterwards. Tonight I was sharing a growler of Wake 'n Bake and two bottles of Lagunitas Sucks. Sucks is as good as I remember it from last year, and I regret only buying two sixers of it.
At 3 bucks a sixer.....had to try this. Now I'm stuck with 5.
I did get her from a Basset Hound rescue. she is sround 35lbs but needs to feed. So I am guessing she be abround 40-45lbs once she gets to proper health. I think she might have some beagle in her. She is kinda small for basset and her legs are a little long too. I know for sure is that she stole my heart and is a pure breed sweetheart.
Deffinetley small but that's cause I'm experimenting with water chemistry on this one and didn't wanna screw up a big batch with my first endeavor!!!
Still waiting on the '12 to hit shelves...so I'm sippin on an '11.
Whatever she is she looks like a bundle of love and devotion
After taking the past two nights off from beer, I'm trying one I haven't had before...
Pretty tasty stuff...Cheers!
You saved a life today. Kudos to that - cheers!
GLBC Christmas Ale after a long night at work.
Reviewing is so fun. Fuck "Had"ing beer, slackers.
My sister got me a few from this MO brewery for Xmas. Nice blonde. Nicely hoppy and pretty flavorful. My expectations were met for the style. Well done
Time to get this out of the fridge. Really weird, I have never had a bloody mary before. Very solid stuff overall. Balanced spices and tomatoes. I would reckon they got pretty close to what they were shooting for.
Fucking delicious! So balanced and complex with spices and pumpkin/caramel maltiness. This is one of the best Rogue beers Ive ever had.
Wow. 13% doesn't mess around, this is a damn complex but balanced beer. Lots of dark fruits, molassses, and holiday spiciness notes. A little too easy to drink for 13%.
Finally found some Sucks near me. For some reason, this year's batch tastes less sweet to me than I recall from last year - in a good way.
Troegenator, followed by SN Celebration Ale.
Southampton Cuvee Des Fleurs
Congrats! I have an 8yr old Basset (in avatar). Your little lady looks all Basset to me, just young. She will fill out nicely and be your new best friend.
(first post ever, couldn't not respond to a fellow BA owned by a BH)
Recycled picture from the other night, but damn this is a good beer.
