Lagunitas for round two (found pic, not my corner, sorry):
Up next. The first one of these I've ever had. And it's pretty damn good!
Had to revive my pallet with something light. Augustinerbrau Edelstoff, a nice clean Helles lager with codfish and spinach aleole for dinn dinn. Ummmm.
Add a little W-n-B to it, about 50/50, to really bring it to life.
Whats the date on that bottle? New labels came out long time ago on those.
Some Motley Crue, love this song:
I can tell you already that this is going to be a great beer weekend. First of all, it started yesterday, and that's always a good thing. Second of all, on-hand, lots of beers I know I like and a handful of new ones to try. Lastly, divisional playoff games tomorrow and Sunday.
Never had this before (off the Beers of Fame list), but definitely gonna have it again:
Crisp, but with a little chew; subtle caramelly maltiness takes the backstage to strong bitter piney hop action.
Damn good stuff.
Grabbed two of these @ 10.99 a piece. Went back for more and they said they priced it wrong and changed it to what it should be, 20.99
After a long week i get to unwind with this:
Good stuff and love the label art. Cheers!
Had a Capt. Lawrence Freshchester Pale Ale a little while ago, definitely a nice opener. Considering Funkwerks' Tropic King or Founders Imperial Stout later, and there's an off chance I'll wander over to Alto Cinco for a beer. Anyone in the Syracuse area wanna join?
This makes it feel a little less chilly:
Im a Zombie Dust magnet as of late. It has never been distributed to Fort Wayne and now all of a sudden I walk in every liquor store and there is 'one' loan 6 pack of it on the shelf leaving me obliged to purchase it. At the same time, every decent bar in Fort Wayne seems to miraculously have it on tap. I am enjoying some now at the new pizza joint, "800 Degrees Pizza". If this pattern continues I dont know if I will ever spend money on any other beer until I leave this town!
King Solomon Imperial Stout from Thr3e Wise Men. Too bad they only made a few barrels of this, it's delicious.
Awesome taste in music, bro!
G' night and an Old School. New to the site and having trouble posting pictures. Shouldn't it be as easy as clicking insert image, pasting the url, and clicking insert? Most likely user error lol
They played this when I saw them this summer.....I think....
Welcome. Sorry bout your trouble but yes, it's usually just as easy as you described.
I saw them, too, here in Chicago I'm not sure on Revelations, either. I know they were heavy on the "Seventh Son..." album. I know the show turned my girlfriend into Maiden/Cooper fan! I know that this is a beer thread so, I'll behave!
YES! MY OLD FRIEND,VERDI, RETURNS!
I would put this on pair with the great stouts though I love many!
Giving a cheers to those who love what I do! Thanks it means a lot and I will continue to be here always for you!
Revival Double Black IPA! I am so happy they just started bottling this.
This Maiden talk has got me listening to some metal.
RIP Cliff Burton
I'm still at work, refreshing this site on the regular. Dying for a beer. Then I remember....I have beer in my car. I picked up two bombers to send off in a trade and while doing so grabbed a single to try this weekend. The single is this new release from a local brewery: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27710/76482 .
It's a 16oz. can and it like 40 degrees out.....
I'll be right back!!!!
EDIT: Yup, this was a good decision. Salute!
I saw that at Nikki's liquor. Let me know how it is.
Actually, I hit the like button a lot!
Finishing off the warrior IPA with some Mexican food...cheers ~
Barleywine pub crawl today with PhillyTapFinder. Had pretty much every barleywine available on draft right now in Philly.
Started @ Bainbridge Street Barrel House:
*Saint Bock Enigma Maple-Syrup Barleywine
Then to Varga Bar:
Then to Philadelphia Bar + Restaurant for:
And finally to Khyber for:
The Enigma was the highlight of the day, followed by the Troegs. All were good though. There are so many good barleywines to be had on draft lines right now!
At the moment:
Like a champion! \m/
Your taste in beer and music, good sir, impeccable!
Ah dude I wish I knew you better because I would have saved a 1996 Old Crustacean for ya!
Drinking Deschutes NWPA Pale Ale next up is Size 7 IPA
<Sip>....Ahhhhhh! This beer is wonderful. If you're not big on smoke beers this is for you as it's only slightly smokey. Even if you're a smoke beer lover, as I am, it's a great beer because the porter underneath is kick ass!
2 Brothers rocks and this double Red is outstanding
Yeah it's pretty good. Slightly boozy, but I've been enjoying it. This is the last of mine and I'm debating whether to buy a couple more singles or not..
Just as damn blurry as I am now! hehe Oops this bottle I saved wasfrom 1999 but there was also the 1996 one as well.
