Never thought I'd be drinking early enough to start one of these threads but here goes...
I am gaining new respect for Flying Fish brewery. From my home state of NJ they have really upped their game lately with the Exit Series and this is the best one so far IMHO:
So, what's in your glass today, Ladies and Gentlemen?

I was too late to edit my post before I finished my beer...

...ridiculously sessionable dark lager sums up that Frankenmuth Dunkel nicely.

  5. The Exit Series is excellent. Flying Fish is a ery good brewery that is working its way up to excellent.
  6. Looking good, everybody! I wish I could join you all, however, I've got to work the closing shift tonight. :( Sooooo jealous!

  15. First beer I am drinking tonight, but it is the second bottle opened. The first bottle was a 750ml of Big Mama Stout from Novabirra out of Belgium. That bottle was a gusher. The bottom of the cap had something purple growing on it and the smell was awful. It was a shame as I was looking forward to it.

    This beer has no problems.

Note to self: Do not order beer to be mailed during the winter.
Second note to self: Do not order Rogue Voodoo Donut Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana ale (again.)

Eh, it's not undrinkable, nor unpleasant, and would likely be better if it hadn't bubbled out from under the cap.
It was expensive, though, and I think I like the bacon maple ale better.

Unfortunately, I've got the flu, and had just gotten into bed when the UPS guy came. I was all tucked in, with my dog cuddled up next to me to keep me warm (I'm wearing long underwear, two pairs of sweatpants, three t-shirts, three long sleeve t-shirts, three sweatshirts and I'm still shivering.), so I'll put this aside to chug later.
