Yeah,it's a little early.
One of the best songs ever
Early is ok! Not drinking yet, but I have a growler of Founders Imperial Stout on the way!
I'm drinking from a Growler of Black Tooth's Saddle Bronc Brown Ale. An English Style Brown that is tasty and has very little bitterness. I like!
Love that Thunderstruck coffee porter. One of my favorites.
Frist time I've had it, a friend brought me 2 1/2 mixed cases of beer from N.C. Friday.
Having eggs and OBs Dale's pale ale. Okay, I lied no eggs. I hate eggs.
Time for a relaxing night cap after a hard nights work and relaxing to some drinking music , was inspired by the OP
Kris Kristofferson is the man. Truely one of the unsung legends in the history of modern music.
Sunday Funday. Enjoying this with a big breakfast. Shaking off the rust from that nasty Olde school Barleywine last night. Great day for sports too.
One of my favs.. 2011
Making some pancakes and drinking this '08 vintage-
It's never too early. Drinking a Terrapin Moo-Hoo Chocolate milk stout. Besides FBS and Wake n Bake, can't think of a better beer to go with breakfast.
This is an interesting take on the style from Saint Arnold.
Early lunch, getting ready for football.
I'm probably going to crack open a Bigfoot 2013 to watch the Flyers game with. And then I'll have whatever Gillette stadium is offering tonight. Picture of the Bigfoot to come when I have it.
Recap of last night:
Bourbon County Bramble Rye - so fucking good.
SN Ovila Quad (Brandy Barrel)
And now I'm starting my day off in proper gueuze fashion:
Girardin Gueuze 1882 (black label)
It's gonna be a good day. Cheers all!
Never too early! This may sound foreign to many here, but I'd much rather have a beer at 10AM than 10PM.
Been a few weeks since I've had one of these.
Founders Breakfast Stout
Starting off with a Beer Works Fenway American Pale Ale. GO PATRIOTS!!!!!
And now for breakfast desert....wannabe CBS-
This turned out to be a perfect medium rare. There's some butter, salt, pepper, and cheese in the potato. The beer? Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye. Great pairing.
Good lookin out on the local whiskey brotha...how is it?
Just like all their offerings....perfect. Great Lakes Distillery is the Quentin Tarantino of distilling. Have you been to their tasting room yet?
I took the tour 3 years ago...it was right after they won a gold for their small batch whiskey in those lil quarter casks...They did not have any whiskey for me to sample, unfortunately...I was digging on the Pumpkin liquor tho, using the mash from Lakefront I think?
howz it? still strong coffee flavors?
Right on, they still do tours but have added a HUGE tasting room to the front side of their facility...no more 4 stool bar in the corner!! And yes, their Pumpkin liquor is the bomb!!!
The countdown begins: Seven more Hopslam to go, having had one daily for almost two weeks now. Really like how this beer's character changes as it warms up... Gotta get 'present' for the remaining experience...you know?
Scan from Jason.
I could just pick up the faintest of coffee with just a touch of a sour note on the front side.....great after taste though, just lingered forever!!! IMHO this beer is a year or 2 over the hill...
bummer...oh well, i just had the 12' with some choc chip pancakes. amazing! cheers!
Where oh where did you get that cup?! I haven't yet looked on their site, so if its as obvious as that, forgive me, haha.
Catching up on Downton Abbey and having a lovely afternoon beverage with JordanPP!
Now on to a Goose Island IPA.
I went too hard Friday night and even for the first time, closed a bar down(ok besides the one my aunt owns hehe).
So nothing today heeh
starting with a few of this years Founders Imperial Stout... Saving the rest of my sour bruin gowler for the ATL vs 49ers and the big guns for the PATRIOTS BABY!!!
Haven't gotten my hands on 2013 yet, but let's go Flyers.
Good look on The Founders.
For some reason I'm not allowed to edit my previous post but here's my picture in it's beautiful, sudsy glory. Go Flyers! And Go Patriots!
