Went big tonight with a friend! Cheers everyone!
Tonight with guests I am opening a fresh growler from Beachwood. It is their Amalgamator IPA.
It's a stout night.
Started with this
and now drinking my first ever one of these
Happy Thursday BA! Sipping on my first taste of this....
This is VERY good.
Watching the second half of Michigan basketball and sipping on this:
Just read a quote from Bell's production manager John Mallett about Hopslam: "you know what it smells like? It smells like your cat ate your weed and then pissed in the Christmas tree."
I think that about sums it up. I wonder if he was speaking from experience? I hope that never happens to my cat/weed/Christmas tree. I'll just smell this beer and take his word for it.
Here's to a proper end to a long day!
Freezing cold out. Watching the Flyers.
Haha...one of the beers that got me in to craft. I can see how it might not be very impressive for a veteran but will always have a spot in my heart. Cheers!
What a fucking day.... Come to papa. Cheers!
Half Acre and Perennial collab Two Tugs. Its tugariffic!
I had a pint with lunch last week, I really like this recipe. I hope Pat and Shawn keep it in rotation from time to time.
Is that the flash or is it that murky brown up close and personal ?
Wanted to start tonight with something different. Searched around the fridge and found this. It is a collaboration with DFH so I knew it would fit the bill, yep....it's different. Not sure what to make of it.
New Deftones record is amazing, reminds me of the Adrenaline days. Cheers!
Tonight is definitely a stout night. This is one of my favorite beers
Big first home game of the season requires a big beer. Doing it right.
Golly, this is good.
I can see how this would be a good beer to get you into the game. Just not for me. Too much of an artificial feel for me.
That's a sexy glass on top of being a delicious beer in it.
Sick beer, sick glass, and sick pic. The trifecta folks!
Lancaster Winter Warmer Ale Yum@ 8.9 abv
Enjoying my first one of the year!
Some fresh Abrasive!
Can't seem to attach my picture. This interface is a little weird for me.
I kept it perhaps a little too simple for dinner with a Beck's Sapphire. But it was quite comfortable.
Up next are the Lagunitas Brown Shugga and the SN Narwhal. Great brews.
Happy Birthday to the beer can!
Came home after pre-burning off a couple craft brews on the elliptical machine. Found an empty Abrasive can next to the sink and felt a tinge of pain before realizing that turning my wife into a beer snob was among my great life achievements. So we shared a second Abrasive. Now I'm cracking a Sucks. Life is good.
Almost 4 months old but still good. I'd like to try it fresh to compare it though.
Pipeworks Flower Child Berliner Weisse
Pretty damn convincing, check the color.
Moving on, time for some smokestack series double wide IPA:
3Beans. Really, Really good. Wish I had more, but I already killed three last night.
This stuff is tremendous as usual.
Is it just me or are these things addictive?
On #3 right now...taking down a 6'er?!?!
Starting with Hill Farmstead Susan, cheers.
The new Deftones record IS awesome. And so is that brew.
Moving on, sticking with another can, picked this one up recently. This one...eh....meh.
I've yet to try Double Cream but after trying Black Note I think I'd really dig it.
Also, fine song selection. It would be 10x better if it wasn't for that beeping during the second chorus.
