Surge Protector Sandy Relief Ale!
On Fridays I work in our satellite office, and try to stop at Post Road Tavern after work for a couple beers. They now brew their own as Rocky Coast Brewing. This is their pale ale. Very nice and very sessionable.
Stone IPA with Hopslam up next... both on tap!
Drinking a Solemn Oath Kidnapped by Vikings, waiting for the bar to tap BCBS cherry and coffee, meanwhile spying a cooler with several bottles of Black Note.... Not lying but this may be heaven.
To be fair, I already have a few Hopslams in the fridge... and Hop Wallop is hard to get fresh around here so when it is I pounce, I love them both equally... But I know Hopslam will be around "fresh" for a month, I may not see fresh Hop Wallop for another 6 months.... Also to be fair I do like Hop Wallop a smidge more!
Been waiting all week for this. Nectar!
Some burly Half Acre Quaker barley wine. Pairs excellent w/ Portlandia.
Stopped after work and did quick tasting with two friends from work. We had Brooklyn Black Ops, Bolt Cutter and BCBS.
We each had the same order: BCBS, Bolt Cutter and Black Ops.
Now off to dinner. Cheers!
I love these threads. It always makes me thirsty even though I'm drinking a beer whilst viewing what everyone else is drinking.
(And to stay on topic, I'm drinking Alaskan Brewing Co's Spring seasonal, a black IPA...it's pretty average, and I'm usually enthusiastic about the style).
Had a SN Celebration earlier, it's still holding up.. Hopslam later.. cheers!
Giving this one a whirl this snowy night...
And after all that talk of pickin' up some Sam, SN and Blvd, I wound up with some Weihenstephaner hefe weiss-bier, plus a mix six of assorted oddballs. Oh well. It's just gonna have to do.
Kuhnhenn Pumkin Braggot. Hides the 14% abv too well.
Cascade The Vine - American Wild Ale AWA
BCBS Cherry Rye on tap, wow, wow, wow.
Happy Friday, cheers!
Oh, for the love of pete, this is delicious:
Had a 2013 Latitude 48 w/Mosaic Hops earlier, that was pretty darn good as well
Real Ale Imperial Red. First beer of the week
Dark Horse Too Cream Stout
I saw a bumper sticker on the way to schooling this morning that read, "IT IS WHAT IT IS."
I also saw a flatbed tow truck, with a flatbed tow truck on it, with a old Toyota Land Cruiser on that.
Founders Red Rye
Tank 7 love this Saison
They always make me jealous. Even though I'm drinking something good, looking at everyone drinking black note, or KBS, or hopslam really makes me jealous.
Per kbuzz's advice, I am drinking this as I type-
....wow, simply awesome.
Watching this, repeatedly-
Stones AND Tank 7? good lord man, it don't get no better.
Good Evening BA's.
Just got in from dinner. Had a few Boston Lagers with my chicken parm. Now working on one of these

Sometimes a bartender not knowing proper glassware works in your favor, eh?
Well, it was bound to happen eventually, but the last of my visits with Sofie is happening first tonight...
3Beans tonight! Highly recommend.
I never thought I'd have the opportunity to try this beer. Many thanks to LiquidDegenerate.

Paired perfectly with this:
Starting the night off with a tasty dipa by the fire:
Now I'm on to this.......so good!
Seriously, one of the most solid stouts I've ever had. Raised the bar on what a beer should be.
First time Cherry Rye drinker! What amazing night at Brixies.
I can't disagree with that. This stuff is massively delicious... I'd love to see more stouts hang out in old rum barrels. It works. It REALLY works.
Rogue Chocolate Stout...
