Relaxing day off...
Having my first taste of 7venth Sun thanks to LiquidDegenerate:
Brett Saison Extrême - saison brewed with heather tips and aged with brett in Palm Ridge Reserve barrels: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/27724/86037/?ba=yamar68
Watching one of my favorite comedians:
Alesmith's Wee Heavy. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I forgot how good this one is. Wow!!! You have something readily available to you & you take it for granted. I gotta make a point of having this more often.
More Pandemonium in my glass as I eagerly wait for BBC America to do its Doctor Who thing tonight!
It's cold outside, I've got nowhere I need to be, and my "cellar" is starting to get full. I think this calls for some beer drinking. Starting with this one...
Of the three I prefer the Sucks....year round please!
A German weissbier. I'll be glad when it's gone. Any of y'all be drinkin' a particular style and get to reading these threads and say, "Sure wish I had a (Stout/IPA/Dopplebock/Helles/etc.) instead"?
Love this stout. splitting another with the wife today.
Drinking a hopslam today, random pic off of google haha
Another try today: Rockhopper IPA. Impressions not in yet!
Thwaite's Nutty Black, followed by an enormous takeaway from the local Indian restaurant.
It's been a long weekend, a second beer is in the pipeline methinks...
How is that one? Is it deliciously bold like most other Terrapin brews?
The Bruery - Mischief while watching the kids host a play date.
Drake's Winter Oasis 7.1%...brewery fresh...not bad.
A style I don't visit enough.
Moving on. Next up is my first taste of 3 Beans.
It's delicious, period. Probably my favorite Terrapin brew to date.
drinking a year old GI Sofie, have not had one in a while forgot how good this saiaon is
Drinking my last celebration of the year to celebrate IU's win!
Lakefront Fixed Gear.
Starting out with Firestone Walker XVI.
Holy shit. This is terrific.
Not particularly. Pretty tame, flavor profile is fairly simple, a little thin. Despite that, it wasn't a bad brew.
Hill farmstead Abner
Hill Farmstead Double Galaxy
Jai Alai IPA
Good one to start the drinking day off with.
2011 New Holland Night Tripper thanks to alelover:
I had forgotten about this one around the holidays. Still drinking good though. Watching the Caps vs. Sabres game. Cheers.
Just finished one of three new release's from Phillip's Brewing 'Leviathan Milk Stout' , good beer for a good cause , next I will probally go for a couple of Guinness Draught to go with a late lunch , happy hour will be Unibroue LaTerrible , been reserved for this day for a while , only the NFL ProBowl to watch
A showdown I suggest you try for yourself if you can. A fair fight - bottled within two days of each other (HU 1/7, Sucks 1/5), exact same temperature, price per oz within a penny. The aroma, flavor amd mouthfeel I find to be almost identical, but Hop U finishes very slightly cleaner. Really can't award a knockout, except that in MA we won't have to wait until Sucks goes year round. Jack's Abby is doing everything right - will their DIPA this Spring finally be the Heady Toppler™? We'll find out soon enough...
Ho-ly Sh*t Balls......
Next- this is pretty good. Not much love for this - way better than the avg rating it is getting....
