That Chimay Goblet is one of my favorite glassware in my collection
Rye Da Tiger, now Zombie Dust. Sitting at 3 Floyd's brew pub passing by while on a business trip.
Alcoholic Fruit Juice for the Win...
First one. Very tasty. Time to cross behind the Cheddar Curtain to pick up some more of this on my next New Glarus stock-up trip.
I totally agree with your results & opinions, and I am jealous looking at the photos.
WM & TK are the best of class - hands down (I actually can't decide on a winner between these two)
I'd like to add that La Fin Du Monde can be spectacular one bottle, good on another and... - meh - the next time. You just never know which it will be.
Last one. Farewell Celebration! It was another great year, we'll see you again soon.
Kinda sad, eh? Good stuff for sure. I was lucky to find another case and figured I'd extend the season! Cheers.
Yes, it is. A delicious beer.
Well, hours after my tripel-tasting test earlier, I'm finally finishing off the La Fin du Monde (the Karmeliet went down with lunch - no pics lol)...
Much better initial head with the more appropriate glassware and pour, but it still slimmed down into a thin film within a few minutes of this pic...
Listening to the forthcoming Hatebreed album, The Divinity of Purpose, currently available streaming from their website (click the album cover to go to there ) ...
I never know what to think when I come across discounted Dogfish Head stuff....after tasting it, I still don't know what to think about it...
2 DFH 90s, a Sucks, and a Burton Baton.
Or was it TWO Sucks?
Yes...was to drunk to post yesterday but did when I woke up.
Gino's buffalo chix slice and my last enjoy by.
Considering I am not a big IPA guy, the Pallet Wrecker was outstanding. I also really dug the First Anniversary ale. They seemed to be really proud of their Serrano Double Stout (only 2 kegs made it to Colorado), but I don't get chilli beers at all.
Just cracked a Hopslam. Going through this case much faster than I thought I would.
Definitely have a Founders Imperial Stout on deck for later.
Just had a Fremont Dark Star Imperial Oatmeal Stout with oak, hazelnut, and smoked peppercorns.
Concur, thats a well made beer that should get a lot more love.
De Struise Outblack:
Alpine Duet just popped to watch the last of the Laker game and the Farmers Open that we should be at.
Trying some local boys tonight. Two Brothers North Wind Imperial Stout. I didn't really care for it at first , but the harshness mellowed as it warmed a bit.
This beer ALWAYS puts a smile on my face.
Magic Hat, Blind Faith. Plan to move on the Sierra Nevada Torpedo for the Pro Bowl.
Started with a Sucks and now onto my first Zoe...
After a busy day I can finally sit down and enjoy a beer that has recently won some awards. Steam beers aren't my favorite but this one is drinking nicely.
Lucky Hand Cali Common
Much lighter than I expected but very good.
Just opened my 64oz growler of SN Narwhal. Wow! Not bad. Not bad at all.
Why don't these bastards date their cans? This one doesn't taste terribly fresh. May be an unfair disadvantage in the upcoming Heady/Hopslams/Pliny side by side I'm going to do. It's their own fault for not dating them.
Still very tasty though.
Opening one of the many bottles of Boltcutter I have
Even though I wasn't able to make it to Amherst for the 15th Anniversary party, I still get to enjoy the fruits of their labor...
So nice w/o the sour apple flavor.... Followed with-
Really didnt like that one last year, but am totally digging it this year. This was next-
