What brewers would you like to see at Extreme Beer Fest 2015?

Discussion in 'BeerAdvocate Fests' started by Jason, Jun 2, 2014.

  1. This past year's lineup was fantastic.

Anyone know how many were from outside the US?

Would be great to see more from Europe, Australia and Asia to see what kind of brew innovation those parts of the world are bringing to the table.

They didn't send enough beer and made the mistake of having some disrespectful, cellar reserve members run their booth. Crooked Stave has already made amends, but some like to still bring it up in an attempt to troll / get a Like from the peanut gallery.

    So 2015 ...

  7. Thanks for the explanation. I'm Cellar Reserve and this is disheartening to hear.

    Hope they made things right.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Stellar job last year gentleman. My buddies and I had a killer time.
I would love to see Toppling Goliath, Funky Buddha, and Avery (I’m missing breweries here for sure) come back.
For new ones it’d be awesome to see:
    Alpine
    Russian River
    Prairie
    Boneyard
    Alesmith
    La Cumbre
    Three Floyd's
    Hair of the Dog
    Voodoo
    Fat Head’s
    Jackie O's
    The Bruery
    Surly
Either way we have already started counting down the days until next Christmas… I mean next Extreme Beerfest.

  32. Treehouse...

Related: Usually an ACBF attendee but switching it up to EBF this year...When do the tix normally go on sale? From what I hear tix usually sell out almost immediately (or much quicker than the weeks / months that ACBF tickets are available)

Tickets will be going on sale very soon. We'll be giving everyone at least a couple of weeks to plan, so keep an eye open for an announcement.

I will throw another vote in for Barrier Brewing from Oceanside, NY. Guys make some great beers and are always experimenting with some of their brews. Would love to see them there.

  35. Marshall Wharf and Oxbow from Maine haven't been mentioned and both are doing some interesting stuff. I second Banded Horn although the only thing really extreme coming from them is their Russian Imperial Stout - The Mountain (12% ABV). Of course Allagash and Maine Beer Company. Also love Foundation, Austin Street, Bissell Brothers but haven't seen too much in the way of extreme coming from them - better candidates for ACBF.

  36. All of the ones from last year...plus:

The two I've been to recently that really blew me away and would be new to most new englanders are -
    Cycle Brewing / Peg's Cantina
Cellarmaker, who aren't more famous simply because they make new beers all the time (one or two a week?), so none of their beers get enough ratings to get the crazy good scores they deserve. Awesome place. Ask for Peach Killah.
