Westbrook IPA (when I'm back in Charleston)
Flower Power and
Maximus for me!
Jai Alai..I can get it at the supermarket a few days old lately.
Football at last. Cheers kids!
2 Hearted Ale - always
When I lived in Ohio I bought Head Hunter all the time. Lord, I miss it.
White Rajah is my fave.. it's too hard to pick a #2, I'd end up listing another three..
Life is good for IPA lovers. Sooooooooooo very good.
Sweet Water IPA
Kind of rotate depending on my moods.
It's good to see Sweetwater IPA getting some props here. It's my go-to local option.
I'm stoked that Clown Shoes Galactica is rumored to be year round now. If so, it will pretty much always be in my fridge.
For me, Sculpin and Ethos. Solid and consistent.
What I can get any day:
FW Union Jack
Uinta Hop Notch
Good People IPA
Straight to Ale Monkeynaught IPA
Both local and I buy them all the time.
Local is best - both in Madison.
1. Fantasy Factory (Spring/Summer - hoping for bottles in 2014)
2. Ballistic (Fall/Winter)
Stone IPA and Union Jack
Very hard to pick just two. But if I go for straight up taste and solid consistency for a year round release I would have to say:
-Sierra Nevada Torpedo
I can answer APA with Dale's Pale Ale.
I can answer IIPA with Hoptimum.
I don't have an answer for IPA yet. I'll keep having fun trying to find one though!
Many contenders for second.
Boulevard Single Wide and probably Stone IPA for me, although I drink a lot of Ethos too.
Exit 16 - Flying Fish
Maybe some Resin (Sixpoint) if I get bored
Sweetwater. $8.99 regular price. $6.99 on sale this weekend. Fresh, consistent, cheap.
Westbrook IPA....local, fresh, and in a can!!
Two Hearted and 60 Minute.
If I just consider 2 criteria:
1. how much I enjoy it
2. how often I drink it
it comes out like this...
1. Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA
2. Bell's Two-Hearted Ale
3. West 6th IPA
everything else is far, far behind.
NYC has the shittiest array of IPAs.
My standards are:
1. Lagunitas Sucks
2. Ole Hickory Death By Hops
3. Bell's Two Hearted
4. Jai Alai
5. Deviant Dales
6-1,000. 995 other amazing IPAs I'm failing to totally recall.
Two hearted and Oddside Citra
I would be a happy man
I love Alesmith IPA also
Fat Head's Headhunter IPA
Dark Horse Crooked Tree IPA
Whatever one is fresh.
Finest Kind, and lately a lot of Founders All Day IPA. Most of the time my go to IPA is the one that's freshest between a dozen or so different IPAs.
Available everyday IPA has got to be Troegs Perpetual. That stuff is dynamite when it's fresh. Double IPA, unquestionably Evolution Lot No6. Within a month or so of bottling, that one can compete with any DIPA out there IMHO.
Two Hearted followed by Stone IPA
and as a local option Westbrook IPA
Separate names with a comma.
