Bud Select 55
I can't think on a NC brew that rates mention in a thread like this, some are better than others, but none of them are Steel Reserve either.
This beer is terrible. I've tried to give it a 2nd/3rd chance, but I pour it out every time. On the other hand, their bourbon barrel stout is pretty nice. Give that one a try. I was skeptical at first considering the first beer, but i was pleasantly surprised.
I was just going to say "I live in Maine, we have Shipyard" but you narrowed it down a little more. I dont mind their stuff normally if its free, but so much better stuff to be had if Im spending my $$$.
Came here to say the same. Shiner by a long shot
fl worst is grayton ipa
Sam Adam's Griffin's Bow.
Every beer I've had from Schmohz has been a drain pour. I bought a mixer sixxer and I believe that I couldn't finish a single one.
Thank you. I was thinking I hadn't had anything really bad from MA and you reminded me of Sam Adams Cherry Wheat.
Penobscot Bay Humble B.
There is no worst in ma. Lots of quality craft breweries in healthy competition. I was less than enthrallnd with mayflower's smoked black lager though. Maybe the perfection that is jack's Abby has spoiled me...
LI/NY- blue point oatmeal stout. I'm a stout girl... so a stout has to be especially terrible to have me do a drain pour.
I suppose i shouldn't bannish one particular brewery for one beer that I didn't like....well, really didn't like. (and i like most everything) i'd be willing to give their stout a green light. ill keep your advise in mind.
FL - Landshark Lager, its all brewed in Jacksonville
as for craft, Bold City's Mad Manatee Cream Ale - atrocious
came here to say exactly this
Ha I was going to say BAR Watermelon ale, more or less equivalent. Maybe I just don't like watermelon beer.
Damn i completly forgot about BAR, i havnt had a beer i like from them yet
Not a big fan of Cricket Hill's (Fairfield, NJ) Lager or Pale Ale but the worst would be Climax (Roselle Park, NJ) IPA
CT- Hooker Watermelon...... god awful
But it's a favorite with their lady visitors!
Anything from Bulldog Brewery in Whiting, Indiana. I was excited when i heard they were opening. Then i had their beer
Out of Michigan: Frankenmuth's Batch 69 IPA
Yes, not every brewery in GR is excellent.
At a recent event, some special beers from a brewery that has a good reputation all were full of ethyl acetate. Can you say acetone solvent smell that said instant headache to all of us. We didn't even bother to try. The sad thing was that the person who brought them had dropped serious money for 3 bottles. Very sad.
Dry dock vanilla porter. I'm not a fan, I would drink banquet beer all day before I revisit that beer.
There is a brewpub in Dallas connected to a Bass Pro Shop called Uncle Buck's. It is right next to DFW airport. I went there after a flight when I was starving, had an "IPA". It was the worst shit I've ever had.
New York State - I would nominate this
With a lineup that ranges from meh to shite, I am dumfounded as to how this brewery still exists.
It's really worse than Landshark?
Pig's Eye Ice
Came here to say Beach Haus, but the Climax IPA was pretty bad also. Still say Beach Haus by a longshot though.
Never tried that one so I guess I won't be.
New York - Sixpoint Resin, tasted like paint remover to me. Although some will argue Sixpoint is not a NY brewery.
Probably something by Yuengling, but since it's not actually craft I guess it doesn't really count (plus their flagship lager will always have a special place in my heart...drank a ton of that shit in high school). Maybe Philadelphia Brewing Company's 'Newbold IPA'? Not horrible, but definitely not good.
Atwater java porter.
Indiana: People's Brewing Farmer's Daughter Lemongrass Wheat.
Looking at my reviews its Left Hand's 400 Pound Monkey.
