Ok, scratch my previous post. PseudoSue from Toppling Giant blew the competition out of the water!
I wanted Jackie Os Mandala Citra (which was on when my buddy was going through), but on his way home they were out. so I had to get their Oatmeal DIPA (Waka Waka Waka).
Citra Ninja, which is basically Imperial Zombie Dust.
Knee Deep Brewing Citra Extra Pale...under rated. Second in my opinion is Zombie Dust.
Zombie dust and Green flash Citra Session ipa
Flying Dog Single hop imperial IPA (Citra)
I thought that Permanent Funeral tasted like Imp ZD.
Never had ZD, Double Sunshine, Kern River Citra, or any of the other really hyped citra hopped beers.
Tocobaga is the best I've had though, and it's pretty damn amazing.
Sweetwater IPA with Flower Power second
My latest is Upland Brewery's Harvest Ale.
False. No citra in Gandi Bot.
Hill Farmstead Citra
Lawson's Double Sunshine
Three Floyds Zombie Dust
Odd Side's Citra Pale Ale or Black Citra Not So Pale Ale
Double Sunshine and Fort Point Pale (which has a touch of Columbus I think)
Clown Shoes Crunkle Sam (don't think it's all citra but has some juicy citra aromas and flavors)
Ale Asylum's "Bedlam"
Yep. And the most recent batch is the best one yet. Perfect beer.
How about SN Flipside...that seems to have a pretty robust Citra hop presence..
Citra X Pale Ale from Knee Deep. Awesome
My favorite might be Beer Hates Astronauts, by Half Acre.
After that, Citra Ninja and Zombie Dust (Citra Ninja wins out because it's just more intense).
I also really like Mr. Goroboros from Half Acre, but it's wet-hopped, so it doesn't give the same citrusy notes that the aforementioned beers do.
Haven't had many, it seems like any beer with Citra is always super-exclusive or limited distribution.
But DirtWolf is pretty damn awesome...but I just had a pint of fresh Flower Power at Ithaca Beer Co. that was amazing as well.
I'm not sure what other beers I've had use Citra hops, but Dreadnaught tasted like it may have and that was awesome as well.
Hill Farmstead Citra
