I am considering the CBS, KBS and Breakfast. I love coffee.
Talk me into which one to try first.
BCBS Coffee Stout.
To actually answer your Q: FBS. Cheapest/easiest to obtain?
Breakfast has the most coffee flavor. The other two have factors that subdue the intensity of the coffee.
Define "considering." If you actually have KBS and CBS in front of you, you are a truly a lucky man, and I envy you.
KBS and CBS offer a lot more complexity and barrel notes that make them some of the most sought after beers in America. FBS is wonderful as well but is definitely your easily-available, $10/4pack option that is most reasonable if you actually have to seek them out. It also has the coffee batting first more so than the other two.
Not made by Founders but Terrapin Wank n Bake or Ballast Point Victory @ Sea. Both have more coffee than the ones mentioned by Founders. I got more chocolate than coffee from FBS
Barrel Aged Sumatra Mountain Brown and Sumatra Mountain Brown then Breakfast Stout.
I have a local shop I found while on a business trip to Boston and they have the entire Founders line. Never tries any of their stuff so I'm picking something up!
And they still had CBS and KBS? That is a really good find.
The breakfast stout has more coffee up frount and then mellows.
Leaning towards the breakfast. Looking forward to trying it.
fbs on tap tasted like coffee beans
No, I'm quite sure they don't. But they probably have FIS, FBS, plus the year rounders if he's lucky.
They had KBS. I don't think they had CBS if memory serves me.
Breakfast stout has most coffee. try them all though. also try Sixpoint 3Beans. It is amazing with deep coffee and cacao flavors.
Didn't fix that for you. Best typo I've seen in a while.
