I'd love to try these beers. I have to admit.... Burton Baton was smooth and buttery. Great beer. But at $15.99 a 4-pack, I passed the second time around. I may purchase another 4-pack and put some age on it.

Are these beers retired, or still brewed. Heard a lot of great things with them.

I have a serious soft-touch for this one, as the original 750mL release was a real palate-wrecker and a great way to break the ice at keg parties. I kinda like the Atwater one right now, since it's been conveniently fire-saled at $1.99/4-pack. :grimacing:

SG has only released a few times, and has been a fairly limited distribution footprint on those releases, so it's an easy one to miss. It was released again not too long ago (in Chicago), so a lot of people have had a somewhat recent taste of that great beer. Very nice work by Pipeworks/4Hands, and the bottle art is a hoot.

    Simtra's the best for me.

I've had PtY and Ephraim (sent to me in a growler) and I think both are great, but probably a little overrated because of their mystique/legacy.

The best I've had thus far is Abrasive. Would love to try something from the Alchemist!

I've only had a couple of double IPAs that strong, but, uh, Sixpoint Resin is amazing.
