I got mine for $22.49
I think my biggest was around $200 at a Freetail release but as far as beer store runs go I think $120 was about tops. I normally try to keep it under $40
Wow...I really am a wuss! I think $85 was the most I have spent at one time and that was when the missus talked me into a couple I would have passed on. Fifty bucks is pretty typical maybe every four or five weeks.
A couple of years ago I spent about $385 on eight bottles of GI Rare.
around 100 once a week
About $500, cleaned house with the Peches n Brett and a few others!
<---- see avatar pic
worth every dime. will be sippin' on the stuff through spring
Can't wait to see the Murphys at the Myth on the 24th of Feb. Always a great time live.
I din't know............. I usually buy something everyday..... so no real big #s hear.............. just lots of frequent small hauls........................
About $200. Does it count if that's just for one bottle, though? lol
Here is one of mine here recently that was quite costly. Just the "Murda'd Out Stout" alone kinda put this one over the top.
Glad to hear $240 is a lightweight. I rarely spend more than $100 even on brew gear anymore.
4 cases of Backwoods Bastard about $75/case.Was glad to get them---distributor only got 6!
Perk of Michigan beer store in winter in a summer tourist town. The stout was out early, there was a ton of Bastard, Cerise, multiple Founder's Backstage, This one goes to 11, and more. It's my favorite place to go.
Im driving up to VT from South Jersey in April. Ive budgeted $1300 for the trip including gas and tolls.
Alchemist, HF, and Lawson are the targets.
As a walmart employee I've never gone above 60 in one day, and even then i had a hard time not regreting it a bit.
Don't remember the cost, but I lugged 72 bottles back from Belgium in carry-on luggage right before the liquid ban on planes. When asked by customs how much I had (clearly over their reasonable limit), I simply said, enough to get me drunk.
about 250+ at belmont station on a trip to oregon
$160 on two Big Johns and six BCBCS. The guys at the counter thought I was crazy spending that for 8 beers. That was one shop on a three day hauling binge that added up to a bit over $300. At the time I had $800 to my name and worked less than 20 hours a week. I don't regret a thing. Good beer > good food
$2,000 haul at Mammoth Brewing but that was to sell
Recently bought a guys beer cellar for $800.
Bruery hauls were up there too. $500 for White Chocolate and about the same for Melange 3.
Sam Adams Utopias.
I just spent close to $200 at Tired Hands last night.
Needless to say, well worth it.
For my 21st, I stocked up on a solid $150 worth of brews. About $120 for this past Thanksgiving. Planning a Heady Topper trip for essentially the sole purpose of stocking up this mid-March. I'm prepared for many cases.
~$340 at Bell's
What was in the cellar?
Abyss, Dissident, Alesmith stuff, Black Tuesday, Surly, FFF, and some others .
About 4 or 5 mixed cases of stuff. I guess you could call that a cellar.
How did you get 4 bricks of Westy?
$400-500 if I find a store with lots of hidden gems. Spending around $100 per store is about normal. I justify it by going a few weeks between purchases. The wife isn't crazy about the spending, but when I hand her half of a bottle to drink in a snifter she stops complaining.
Unearthly keg. Think it was like 250.
When I head north (from Alabama) I plan on stocking up with beer I just can't get this way. FFF, Columbus Brewing, Brew Kettle, Fat Heads, Half Acre (If I have time, and am crazy enough to go there). I like to come back with $200-$300 worth. When and if Columbus Brewery starts bottling Bodhi I'll get as much of it as I can for sure!
They were selling 2 bricks. I got back in line, and got away with it.
5 cases of ZD and 5 variant FF bombers --- $225
~$200. HF and Heady Topper run. What can I say other than money well spent.
Hunahpu's Day 2012 - 14 bottles and some of the vagina tequila beer. Well over $350.
I saw a BCBCS bomber for $35. I'm great at justifying all sorts of things... Why I should hit snooze (4 times), why I don't need to work out, why I should get fries with that. Couldn't justify this.
$875 dollars and change on a beer run to Philly. Picked up Cantillons and Russian Rivers (different ones) and when he totaled it up I about coded. So I broke out the credit card and said God you gotta get me home on this tank a gas cause I am tapped! But that was nothing compared to when the Mrs got the CC statement...hehehe...
That's why I strictly stick with cash. The Mrs would scalp off the mustache and kick me out on the street. I feel for ya! Philly is a great beer town. Closest place to me that has Maine Beer. Can't wait to get back there.
I've averaged about $150 per trip to Hill Farmstead the last 3 times I went up. Honestly feel like it is worth it.
