    SN Ruthless Rye
SN Torpedo Extra IPA(was this new this year?)
    Stone Mint Choc. Stout

On a different note, and since recipes change from year to year sometimes based on the brewer and ingredients I'd have to say for some reason Hop Trip from Deschutes didn't WOW me this year like it did last year, but maybe my palate has changed. Hoping when Lagunitas Sucks comes out I dont have the same experience.
And Im really pissed I somehow missed the Ruination 10th Anniv., where the heck was I?

I should preface this by saying that Western Kentucky is not the beer mecca of the U.S. but for me, Stone killed it in 2012:
    1. Enjoy by 12/21/12
    2. Ruination 10th Anniversary
    3. Stone 16th Anniversary IPA
    4. The Vertical Epic hype and the final release 12/12/12
    5. And finally, the introduction of the 16 oz. 4-pack of Stone favorites like Ruination and Sublimely Self-Righteous

And before the haters start hating...No, I do not work for Stone.

    Cheers!

  36. Alesmith BA Decadence ‘10 – Best Alesmith beer I’ve ever had. The original was amazing, and the barrel aged version is better by orders of magnitude.
Karl Strauss 23rd Anniversary – Not sure I’ve ever encountered a more underrated beer. If this was made by 3 Floyds or Bells it would trigger a fustercluck in the trading forum.
CCB Leon – This tastes like apple pie barley wine without being overly sweet, making this beer is a huge win for America.
Hangar 24 Pugachev’s Cobra – If you like perfectly integrated caramel, bourbon, chocolate and vanilla, then why aren’t you drinking this?
Veritas ‘011 – Like Leon, this beer has demonstrated deliciously that barley wines are a great canvas for painting subtle fruit flavors.

Did So Cal really produce four of the best five beers to come out this year? Definitely. I tried every beer produced in 2012 and these were the absolute best!
