Please join us for our first Monk’s Mad Monday of 2013.
It's Martin Luther King Day and most of you will have the day off anyway. Spend it with us.
Since this is a Charity Event, all these beer will be CASH ONLY!
We will have a couple of rare beer raffles, too. They will also be CASH ONLY.

We’ll be pouring kegs of:

Dogfish Birra Etrusca Bronze Ale
Dogfish Head Bitches Brew
Dogfish Head Immort Ale
Dogfish Head Namaste
Dogfish Head Old School Barleywine
Lost Abbey Cuvee de Tomme (I snuck this one in because we are putting tickets on sale for our Lost Abbey Beer Dinner to be held on Tuesday, February 5th. These tickets will go very quickly, so I recommend you get here early. First come... first served on these tickets. Ticket sales begin at 11:30AM)

RAFFLE #1

Tomme Arthur, Vince & Gina have generously offered a box of Lost Abbey Track Series Beers. That’s 12 beers that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. They only made 450 bottles of each of these 12 beers and the lucky winner will win a bottle of each. They sold this for set for $450 at the brewery. We will sell only 100 tickets for $20 each for Raffle #1.

RAFFLE #2

I’ll kicking around in my basement to see what I can come up with for this raffle. It will be good, of course. I’ll update this on Monday. We will sell only 100 tickets for $10 each for Raffle #2.

Drawings will be held as soon as a raffle sells all 100 tickets. You don’t need to be here to win, but it would be cool if you were here.

THE CHARITY

The Philadelphia Fair Food Farmstand at the Reading Terminal Market offers a program for Philadelphia Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit recipients to “Double their Dollars”. For a $5 SNAP coupon, the Fair Food Farmstand allows them to purchase $10 worth of food. This allows unemployed and under-employed families to prepare meals with locally raised farm products. This benefits both our local farmers and our local families. Many of these families would otherwise lean towards shopping for cheap, processed foods at large, corporate supermarkets. This money will allow them to feed their families with fresh, nutritious food.

REMEMBER

Our Lost Abbey Beer Dinner is on February 5th and tickets go on sale at the start of this Mad Monday (January 21, 2013 11:30AM)!
