Pints for Non Profits Featuring: Lagunitas / Firestone / Ninkasi

Going: 0 | Watching: 0 | Invited: 0
We are featuring 3 diverse Non Profit Causes paired with 3 of our favorite breweries!

This will be a great event for some great causes so be sure not to miss it!

Here is the break down, each non profit is paired with a brewery and they will feature 3 drafts including specialty release beers!

We select 2 beers that OG will donate 20% of the proceeds and 1 selected draft will see 100% of proceeds donated to their respective cause!

Also, Non Profit representatives will be on site so you can put a face to the name and get a more in depth understanding of their cause and passion.

If that wasn't enough Rudy, Tony and Tiffany from the breweries will be in house passing out raffle tix for brewery swag packages.

Here is the who is who and what is what:

Firestone Walker paired with Alice Adam's 5th Grade Class

From the Teacher:

John J. Montgomery Elementary is located in San Jose and falls under the category of a Title 1 school. This means our population is considered disadvantaged because over 70% of the families we serve are far below the poverty line.

My students, quite simply, have challenges that others do not have, including pervasive hunger, medical issues, challenging home lives, and a lack of high quality life experiences.

We could use the proceeds to curb the expense of my classroom snack cabinet, field trips we hope to take.

Our field trips will include adventures to Westward Ho, a pioneering project by History San Jose, Sealab, a catamaran excursion where students learn about marine biology, navigation, and conservation, Santa Cruz Nature School, a week-long science camp among the redwoods, and SJ Art Museum, where they'll practice the Visual Thinking Strategy we learn all year.

I love my 30 students and want to help them have a beautiful year.

Thank you, Alice Adams

Restoration sessions, field trips, and tours take place at Ulistac Natural Area, the last 40 acres of open space in Santa Clara, located at 4901 Lick Mill Blvd. Santa Clara CA, 95054. The natural area is an open space with trails to walk on, ride a bike through and dogs are welcome.

We will use the funds to purchase cardboard for mulching, buy and/or replace tools and supplies for the work sessions, and buy native plants to plant this fall.
