Peoria Jaycees 22nd Annual International Beer Festival

The Peoria Jaycees are proud to have continued the legacy of bringing craft, import, and micro- brews to Central Illinois! Back for it's 22nd consecutive year is the Peoria Jaycees International Beer Festival featuring over 250 quality craft micro brews and import beers. Occurring over two days and providing two unique beer tasting experiences.

Come out and help us celebrate on Friday April 11th from 6-10pm at Exposition Gardens in Peoria for the 22nd year! Friday night, attendees will have the chance to taste over 100 brews from all around the world as they eat tasty bites from local restaurants. Enjoy a smaller, quieter beer testing event with the sounds of the local band, Corn Wolves, as they play an acoustic evening. Tickets for Friday’s event are $20 and include your 2014 glass souvenir glass plus your food. 50% of the door proceeds on Friday night will benefit the Greater Peoria Honor Flight. We are proud to support an organization that recognizes American Veterans for their sacrifices and achievements by flying them at no cost to Washington D.C. to see the memorial to the war that they served in.

Then Saturday April 12th is the big event! Beginning at 1pm and running until 8pm; join us, and over 5,000 guests from Peoria and beyond, as we give you the opportunity to enjoy over 250 beers! Beer connoisseurs, enthusiasts, and anyone interested in broadening their brew horizon are encouraged to join in on the fun! Commemorative sample glasses will be given to the first 4000 guests through the door on Saturday. Saturday admission tickets are available for $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Admission tickets are available at many local outlets, including Rhodell Brewery, and Friar Tuck Beverage. A full list of ticket outlets is available on our website. Saturday’s events will include a well stocked concession stands featuring Hickory River Smokehouse Pulled Pork, the German American Society’s Pretzels, Janey’s Almond Box and other snacks that pair well with beer. Comatose Catfish, Zack Linley and the Rebel Dare Devils, and Whiskey Rodgers Galactic String Band will be playing, starting at 2pm and throughout the day in the Opera House building. The charities that will benefit from your attendance include the Tornado Victims of Tazewell County, the historic Springdale Cemetary, Peoria Amvets Post 64, Camp New Hope and Heifer International.

Visit the website for a beer list and to purchase entrance and beer tickets with PayPal.

At both events beer tickets are $1.00 each, with most beers requiring 1 ticket per 4 oz tasting.
