Summer Brewfest @ Indian Ranch

Seventh Annual Festival celebrates beer, music, food and the beach

(Webster, MA - July 28, 2014) – On Saturday, August 16, New England’s beer enthusiasts will travel to Indian Ranch once again to sample some of the best local, regional and national beers, micro-brews, craft beers and malt beverages available. All while enjoying delicious food, listening to live music, and taking part in fun activities on the shores of Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

The local Massachusetts brewery scene will be well represented by Spencer Brewery, Webster’s own Kretschmann Brewing Company, Wormtown Brewing, Wachusett Brewing Company, Notch Brewery from Ipswich as well as Harpoon and Samuel Adams.

The other five New England states will also be represented at Summer Brewfest by Long Trail Brewing, Woodchuck and Magic Hat from Vermont, Shipyard Brewing Company and Baxter Brewing Co. of Maine, Red Hook from New Hampshire, Two Roads Brewing Co. in Connecticut and Narragansett Brewing Company from Rhode Island.

Additionally, beer lovers can try samples from the rest of the northeast including Blue Point Brewing mpany of Long Island, McKenzie’s Brewing Co. from Malvern, Pennsylvania and the Ithaca Beer Company of upstate New York.

Midwest brewers will include Chicago’s Goose Island Brewing Company and Tenth & Blake Beer Company, Boulevard Brewing Company out of Kansas City, Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company of Wisconsin with Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Bass Ale, Stella Artois and Shock Top all representing Anheuser-Busch from St. Louis.

The western part of the country will be represented by Hawaii’s Kona Brewing Company, Widmer Brothers Brewing of Oregon, Sierra Nevada from California and Colorado’s Blue Moon Brewing and Crazy Mountain Brewing Company.

Providing culinary delights to the Summer Brewfest will be Sturbridge’s BT’s Smokehouse with central Massachusetts southern rock cover band Still Burnin’ providing a fun-filled musical backdrop.

Summer Brewfest will run from 2:00pm – 6:00pm. Tickets for Summer Brewfest at Indian Ranch are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the event.
