This is a grocery store I regularly visit when I go down to visit family. They have a nice selection of bombers and six packs of IPAs and other beer styles that are best stored cold in an open line of coolers; with very good freshness dating for the local IPAs. They also have a solid selection of singles on a warm shelf, but I rarely see any new or limited beers there. Most of the widely available locals and big breweries from other states. The freshness on the singles shelf is usually very good, though. There is also a nice selection of 6 packs on the warm shelves, with bombers on the top from a good variety of breweries; and with good overall rotation and freshness. They do have a growler station as well that offers samples, and has good rotation for freshness and always has a few of the latest seasonals available. The overall selection is not all that massive, but is definitely great for a grocery store. I can always expect to see something new that I have not had before whenever I stop by, but it is usually only every few months. The service is good, they usually have an associate maintaining the beer/wine stock and growler station; so if you have any questions they are available. Overall it is a great store to stop by whenever I am in the area, good selection and quality all around. (1,317 characters)

severely understaffed when I visited. warrants another visit back during slower hours. The water was CO2-driven, so it came out half carbonated and warm- pretty gross. But this isnt H2O Advocate. They had tasty beers. Decent variety in styles too. (247 characters)

Stopped in on a busy Saturday afternoon before departing Omaha. This brewery had the highest ratings of any other brewery in the area. This brewery is in a funky/artsy/hipster area but was pretty cool and you could see why it was so popular.
They had lots of creative beers: Pineapple IPA, Vanilla Bean Blonde and Cherry Wheat. I opted to get a growler of the Pineapple IPA to take back home.
The brewery itself was relatively small but could comfortable fit 50-75 people. It looks like they served local pizzas and had a large seating area at the bar. The growler prices were very fair and I look forward to stopping again to try more beer in the future. (658 characters)

Visited Von Rothenburg's for a company event! In October. Weather was really cooperative and we sat outside and had an sampling of Octoberfest's. Food was a non-event, but the atmosphere made up for any shortcomings!
Cheers! I will be back next time I'm in Menomonee Falls (278 characters)

This is a chain brewpub, located in a suburban strip mall, not far from the highway. Easy to find, with ample parking, the restaurant is moder and clean. Nice service, but not exceptional. The beer, also, was lackluster. No real flaws in the beer, but also nothing adventurous or interesting. Also, I don't think that I like the fermentus Interruptus idea. They had a few pale ales, an iPa, a bock, a stout, and a lager. (425 characters)

A short walk from Crystal City Metro and housed above McCormick and Schmidt's is this oasis of beer and food. Well, to me it was an oasis. Being from out of two, food and beer were essential to keep me going. Highline RxR does fine in both areas. There's a long flight of steps which you must climb before you hit the host's podium, and from there you have a large area to hang out. Large bar area, lots of space to go around, and a large outdoor patio that rests 20 feet above the street.
Three different clusters of taps around the bar, each cluster holding around 20 taps (although a number of them are duplicate taps. Having come on Virginia Beer Week, I saw an extra boost of beers from the state. There were also brands from across the USA and imports. Brands pouring included Parkaway, Blue Mountain, Old Bust Head, Port City, Gaffel, Epic, Left Hand, Duchess de Bourgogne, Avery. Thick bottoms shaker make must of the glassware, although goblets were utilized for some of the drafts. The beer was fresh, although I did feel shortchanged on one of my three pours. Service was acceptable; having a beer menu and special beer menu helped out the mediocre ordering time. Many of the pours were hitting $7, a bit more than what I am used to in Orange County. My steak sandwich was fine as well.
The beer selection is the highlight here. If you're looking for extra beers to try, Highline RxR would be worth checking out. (1,427 characters)

I love red beard. I've been coming here since their opening night. Their new beer the Pennyroyal Pale is one of the best most drinkable pale ales I've ever tasted. I thought their American Pale Ale A.P.A was my fave till I tasted the Penny. Awesome! Definitely worth the trip if you're in the area (297 characters)

Tasting tour was a very fun time and a great anniversary gift from my wife...sipping on great Founders' year-rounds, followed by Bolt Cutter, which was a nice treat. Atmosphere was awesome--Herbie Hancock was an obvious plus. People were great. Good food and great beer. Literally, no complaints, only compliments. A must if you can make it to Michigan. Always enjoy visiting this nice local watering hole. Simple with nice artworks placed here and there. Simple yet elegant bar with the emphasis on the beer they serve. All solid and excellent examples of the styles. From pales to Belgians, they proudly serve excellent ales and a wide variety to choose from. Friendly and attentive staff. Wish they had food, but one out of two ain't too shabby. Worth the drive to historic down town Wooster who should be proud to have such a treasure hidden away there.

Thoroughly enjoy my visit every time I come to Columbus on my trek to Wooster Ohio. Nice old time bar/eatery with a very nice traditional bar with nice wood work and classic bottles from around the world. Food is very good, burgers are solid and fish and chips are quite nice. Service is always good and attentive. Ale selection is as good as you want it to be. Solid dark and strong ale offerings, Belgian and Russian imperials, nice IPA's and an always good hand pull firkin. Old, worn, and comfortable with guests of every walk of life from urban professional to college hipster and general Joe public. No complaints except that I only have 3 growlers to fill on a visit....and they need to bring back the Barley Burger which was awesome. Owner is very nice as well and has a great attention to detail when it comes to his brews.
Try it, you will find something to your liking.
Visited this time around on a Thursday afternoon at lunch time. Get in early, they get crowded fast.

Nice selection of different styles of ales mixed with a few guest taps and a nice selection of spirits. I was the first in the door so got excellent service and knowledge from the bartender who was friendly and helpful. Beers range in flavor profiles with some high notes. Nice local spot to hit in the Columbus area. Got our growlers and hit the road, but still was impressed for being open for such a short time.
Expect more good things from them with time and experience. Their glowing stars were the Portergeist and the Hefeweizen which were stunning and delicious. (577 characters)

This is the perfect neighborhood bar. Always have 15 or more craft beer choices. DJ is the best bartender in the area and the food is awesome having taken grilled cheese sandwiches to the next level.

Great place to watch sports , big screens in every direction. Great selection of beer choices, tried three all of which were hoppy. To my taste all were good but not outstanding.

Good selection of beers, tried 5 of them all top quality. The IPA is definitely one of the best being brewed in the philly area. Only negative is a weak food selection, they do occasional have food trucks.
Focus on the beer and eat elsewhere. (245 characters)

Nice place, although I'm here on a summer Saturday and it's a madhouse. Oktoberfest style seating with big long tables. Getting your first beer can be a challenge but after that very quick service. Food is amazing but I'm not a fan of their "snack bar" style- order and pick up at an area in the back. (301 characters)

The taproom only serves beers (and wines) made in Ohio and only on tap. The kegs are procured directly from the breweries, so they often have several that are unusual. There are only 12 taps, but that means the beer is fresh and the selection changes frequently.
There is no kitchen, however there are several places nearby that deliver.
Sundays they often host a Family Sunday FunDay with games and food for kids. It's a comfortable place to enjoy good beer with friends. (480 characters)

Strictly draught beers. No liquor license, and with a tap selection like this they sure don't need one. 61 Local focuses on Brooklyn and the five borough area favorites like Barrier, Singlecut, Other Half, Finback and others. No crap on tap here. Knowledgable staff, excellent and tastefully done pressed sandwiches and such. If you're looking for rarities from further out of town you'll want to check out Bar Great Harry a few blocks south along Smith Street. (461 characters)

Cool place..........family friendly...........food was solid for a pub..........had the cheesesteak which was good and would order it again.........beer selection was solid as well..........a few different offerings from Stone as I believe there was a tap takeover that day or the day before.......... had two Stone IPA variants....... one that was dry hopped with some different hops and another that was wood aged.........they had some Kane and Carton offerings as well.........Would have rated the service higher but we spilled a beer on the table while our server was taking our order and the server walked away without even offering to clean it up....it was only after asking that any attempt was made to clean our table.........otherwise cool place, good food, and good beer selection (790 characters)

This is a small bar on Mass Ave jar Cambridge City Hall. They have 15 beers on tap. None of them are macros (yeah!), but none are unusual either. They tend to lean toward the hoppy side. The bottles and cans (5) are all macro.
The decor is city-rustic. Tall ceiling, oval glassed front door and scratched wood throughout. The bar is on a corner so there is extra light coming in. Otherwise this place would be very dark. Very casual. (435 characters)

This place is a hole in the wall and not in a good way. Their selection is equal to all other liquor stores in the area. They did teach me to always check expiration dates as the only beer I've ever purchased here was long expired. (231 characters)

I really enjoyed the vibe at this place - really laid back the the people were friendly with lots of the other customers chatting with us. The crowd was younger and I was surprised by how busy the place was on an early Friday afternoon. It was small but there was a decent amount of stool seating at the bar.
Beers were well poured at a proper temperature with a good sized head (for the style) but unfortunately in disposable "glassware."
Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive with quick service. Guys working at the place offered up a lot of information on what beers were new and the more interesting offerings.
The shop/bar while small has a pretty good selection with a good focus on a lot of local NC breweries. On my visit, 5/6 taps were NC beers. (771 characters)

Excellent and fairly priced farm to table menu. Tried the pickle slate, heirloom tomatoes, poutine, chorizo flatbread, and blueberry crumble. The crumble was raw/underdone but everything else was great - easy to tell that everything is crafted using quality, fresh ingredients.
Beer menu is also excellent. Tons of HF and some other locals like JA and Oxbow along with some belgian and getman beer. A little heavy ipas and pilsners but the world class quality of the offerings makes up for the lack of variety. As mentioned below, I wish the style s were mentioned in the menu.
Our server was pleasant and helpful. The host and hostess were neither.
Overall one of the better tap lists in MA and outstanding food. (722 characters)
