A neighborhood favorite! Great outdoor patio area, always a stocked board with great selections. Staff is fantastic (shout out to Jeff), been frequenting for 4-5 years. No food, but they have a large binder type stack of menus for you to order. (244 characters)

Love Fourth Ave Pub! They always offer an A level draft list with some very nice bottles as well, bartenders are always great and friendly. Nice outdoor area in the back, unlimited free popcorn and really close to the train and the Barclays center. What more could you ask for? (277 characters)

Great selections night in and night out, one of my favorites in the area. Staff are super cool and accommodating. They sport a really nice grassy outdoor area in the back, currently my favorite in Brooklyn! You can also pick bottles to go, their selection is really well balanced and there are many bottles you won't find anywhere else! (336 characters)

Actually went to the JFK branch of this location on July 15th. Was a pretty cool hangout with the best beer in the airport. Service was attentive and helpful, the beers were delicious! Food was a bit pricey, but damn tasty. If you're in JFK, check this place out! (263 characters)

Solid beers. Great local hangout especially in the summer with the patio. They only serve their own, but you can pick from a few wines and quality bourbons too. Usually a food truck around. If not you can always order a pie from the Pizza Cottage down the street and have it delivered right to the bar. Servive is always outstanding (332 characters)

Summer feel is good with a large garage door that opens to an outdoor seating area. The road immediately outside is busy and can be loud at times. In the winter I'm not sure how this will feel. Seems like the space will be small and tight and possible rather cool. Cross that bridge then.
I think the beers are solid with a small range of styles for their everyday beers. Nothing exceptional but they will try to throw on one or two new taps every Friday, for example a rye apa and a smaller Am. stout.
This is a smaller community, that doesn't have a tourist base or nearby populations to make a go. I wish them well and I'm glad they are there. (652 characters)

Went here on our last night in Poznan, I believe it was July 20th. Service was prompt, but a bit pushy so it felt like we were rushed even though it was a normal amount of traffic. They spoke English and had English menus, it definitely makes sense since it seems like a lot of tourists would go here. Food was pretty decent but the portions were small, not overly expensive. The beer was OK, nothing to really brag about, but it was cool being able to drink something other than a Euro lager in Poland. My favorite was the Miodowe, which means "with honey" or "honey flavored" in Polish, and was basically an Oktoberfest-type beer. Would recommend if you are in Poznan and want to drink some beers in the Stary Rynek (old square). (731 characters)

Went here on Friday, July 24 after our trip to Neuschwanstein castle. There was a wedding party that took up most of the tables, but thankfully there were a handful left. Obviously the noise and the busy street out front brought down the vibe a bit. Theresienwiesn, where they have Oktoberfest is visible, though. Beers were fresh but the selection was really limited. Service was pretty terrible, they had two people working about 20 tables and the servers were not friendly. English menus available, though. Would not recommend unless you really needed a beverage and food during Oktoberfest. (594 characters)

Comfortable atmosphere with lots of old signage from the original (looks like ) 3 brewery's in the Red Wing area, plus some turn of the century (1900) advertisements. Fermentation tanks behind glass. I went at about 3:30 on a Friday and it was mostly full.
A broad list of beers brewed plus another 8 taps (7 from other MN smaller breweries and 1 BMC non-alc. beer). And a Red Wing root beer as well.
The pizza they make is popular but I did not partake. I believe it's a pretty small menu.
Service was friendly but a little slow and average in knowledge.
I'd go again when in the area. (593 characters)

Went here on our first day in Munchen, Thursday the 23rd. Was about a 15 minute walk from out hotel since it is not in the old town, but about a few minutes away on the south-western side. Sat in the huge outside biergarten since it was a nice evening. Service was a bit spotty, but typical for a German place. Food was most excellent, I had the roast duck. The beers were fresh and tasty, but the selection was quite small. I wanted to try the beer called vladimir or something which seemed like a hoppy wheat beer but they were out. Went with the brauhaus zwickl and weissbier. Would recommend, but there are some slightly better places in the heart of old town that are worth walking to first. (696 characters)

Went here on Sunday, July 26, after a long wait to get to old town in Munich. The place is spectacular, right in the south-eastern side of old town, pretty close to the Hofbrauhaus. We opted for an outside table since it was so nice out that day. Service was actually pretty good for a German place, and they had English menus. Food was great, I had the butcher's platter which was 5 different sausages. They have pretty much every available Schneider-Weisse beer here except for the really odd stuff like Cuvee Barrique and Mein Nelson Sauvin. Basically, all the "Tap _" beers are here. Would STRONGLY recommend going here. (624 characters)

Such a pleasant feeling while you are inside the bar. Made in stone and dark wood, fits perfectly to what it offers as food (sausages, ribs, beans...) and drinks (Kozel Cerny/Dark, Pilsner Urguell, dark wine...). A really nice place, a must visit if you find yourself in Podgorica, Montenegro. (293 characters)

If you really care about finding quality craft beer in the Syracuse/Finger Lakes area then this is your spot. Owner is super knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk beer with. Store does a great job of selling fresh, properly stored beer. They also had by far the best selection I have seen in the Syracuse area. I love that they have 8-10 draft lines usually pouring pretty hard to find stuff so you can grab a couple beers in store or take a growler to go. It's definitely a must stop for me when in Upstate NY now. (515 characters)

This is a good very good beer and wine store. I would say it is currently 50/50 wine and beer with some.e liquor in there somewhere. The owner will get anything you want and will keep beers hidden for regulars. He gets limited releases and they are known to get kegs if you have a special occasion. Great store to have close by in what is otherwise white bread suburbia. (371 characters)

Save your money and time. Beers are overly sweet and flat. Everything tasted unfinished. And there's absolutely no reason why this brewery should be open and serving beer to the public. They should've figured this out before opening, and they've had ample time to correct their quality issues since opening.

Service was lackluster. He didn't engage me or talk about the beers. Just asked for my ID.

It's damn shame as the space is cool and I live mere blocks away.

The writing on the wall: The restaurant next door was jam packed, but this brewery had only 5 people in it; including me, the server, and 3 other patrons. (622 characters)

When you see the stairs, you know you're in beer heaven. Bombers galore, great beers on tap, and a supermarket of fresh food in any variety you need. Most IPAs were < 3 months from bottle date. The DeCiccos brand Biscotti Break is solid. This takes my vote over Brewster for best selection and is right at the north border of NY, making it an easier location for those coming from the NE (Vermont, Boston) and heading west/SW. (426 characters)

I'm very impressed with this brewery and tap room. It's a cofortable room with a warm, wood motif which is a nice change for Florida. The crowd and bartenders are pretty engaging and the beer is reaonably priced, well crafted, and diverse in style. (250 characters)

I initially wasn't going to stop here, but due to a late start to the day, we ended up at the falls around lunch. The kids and the in-laws were hungry, and I'm not going to turn down the chance to try new brew, so in we went.

The pub is part of a larger structure that include a retail shop, snack stand, and outdoor fireplace/performance area where you can wait for a table. There's a plate glass window where you can look in on the tanks. The pub looked busy when we arrived, but service was quick and we ended up waiting a few minutes. Just enough time to glance in on some of the merch available in a slice of the pub carved out for retail. If you're a sucker for Up North and/or brewery gear, you'll probably drop a few bucks.

I got the fish and chips and four sampler flight. The fish was fresh caught and breaded, not the typical fish-and-chips you'd find in a pub, more like what you find in most mom-and-pop diners in northern Michigan. The flight was the stout, raspberry wheat, wheat, and pale ale. All were to style, but only the raspberry wheat stood out as memorable.

Here's the thing: nothing here had to be as good as it was. The pub sits in the middle of a state park tourist attraction almost in the middle of nowhere, where the next nearest eatery is probably an hour away. They own the market in the area. They could've served the stuff you find at a chain place, but they don't. The service didn't have to been as fast or nice, but it was. The beer could have been slightly better than garbage and people would still buy it. But I'd call it fair-to-good.

Check it out f you're there. It's not something to drive an hour out of the way for, but it's a shame to miss it if you're in the park. (1,716 characters)

I'm embarrassed to admit that I've lived in Madison since before Karben4 opened, and I hadn't visited before tonight.
Enjoyed my visit, though, and will definitely be coming back. They were busy but not slammed, and the service at the bar was friendly and knowledgeable. Had a pizza and a flight consisting of everything they don't bottle, followed by a full glass of Idiot Farm which was really good. Second favorite beer was Under Cover, which I would not have guessed coming in.
If I have a complaint, it would be the lack of variety. Despite their claim of being malt focused, their beer menu is full of IPAs, and not much else. Oh, and they need a bigger bike rack. (675 characters)

Stopped in for a quick pint while we we're staying in Asheville. Taproom itself is very small, but it is practically in the brewery floor. So you get a great up close look at the brewery in operation. They were canning the Kolsch while I was there. Service was excellent. Bartender let me get two 1/2 pints so I could try a couple different brews. The appeared to be some seating outside, but it was pouring when I was there, so I am not sure how that was. It would certainly help expand the room. Worth checking out. (517 characters)

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon after eating at The Pit next door. The tap room had probably been open for about 1/2 an hour when we arrived. I had the flight which was a little on thepricey side but they are good sized at 5oz and you get 5 selections. One nice touch is the paddle which is cut in the shape of North Carolina. Very friendly staff and you can purchase bombers to go. Multiple rooms, really allow you to spread out and not feel confined, although only the tap room itself was air conditioned. The game room, with a Lethal Weapon 3 pinball machine, had a huge industrial fan to keep it comfortable. Check it out. (627 characters)

Stopped in on our way from Raleigh to Asheville on a Sunday afternoon. The whole neighborhood was pretty quiet and there was plenty of space in the dining and bar area. Very friendly waitstaff. Nice variety of food to choose from. We brought our one year old daughter and felt very comfortable having her there. Had the IPA of the Month for July. It was excellent. I wish we could've stayed longer. Definitely recommend this to anyone in the area. (447 characters)
