Love this place. I work in Germantown, MD but live in Bethesda so the Pour House is right on my way home when I travel back down I-270. They have over 120 beers available with a very big tap list, rotating about 10-12 (1 Nitro) beers while keeping the rest of their offering consistent. No matter which type of beer you prefer, they have something for everyone. If you have friends who prefer spirits or wine, they have a wide selection of that stuff as well (including wine on tap, pretty cool). All beers are available in 6 oz. flight style glasses or larger pints/snifters, etc. I've only ever sat at the bar; the bartenders are attentive and not overbearing. The ceilings are high and the space above the bars is reserved for huge TVs, great place to catch a game. Food is great too, the cheese curds and firecracker rolls are my favorite. (843 characters)

Great place. Their beers are very drinkable and taste amazing. Their selection is of beers is small, but they only opened up two weeks ago so I'm won't take them against them because they have several types to choose from. Great vibes and ambiance, and they had an awesome food truck out front. Prices were the norm- $6 a pour. They also have growlers. This is probably my new go-to tasting room to drink at now. (412 characters)

Finally an oasis of craft beer located in the previously barren hinterlands of rural Chesapeake. They have a passion for beer and have plenty of solid offerings. Looking forward to their barrel aged stuff. Based on their test batches...they will soon be the kings of barrel aging in the Commonwealth. (300 characters)

Great place. The frosted bar top is awesome. Beer gets colder as you drink it. Sliders and fries are tasty. The staff is super friendly. Always a pretty decent selection of beers. (179 characters)

Visited Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery in Portland, OR on Wednesday August 29, 2015.

The Rock Bottom was busy on this Wednesday night, but we got a table for 2 immediately. We got a table outside, which was enjoyable with the great weather that night. There was a nice selection of beers available, many on draft. I had two pints of the Schwartz Bier, which were very good. The waitress was very helpful. She answered all of our questions and was very friendly.

Although they were packed, we received our drinks quickly. The food was also served quickly. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, and did not feel rushed.

I had one of the burgers, which was very tasty. The burger was tasty even without any condiments.

There are many brewpubs in Portland (which is great for beer lovers). I want to try many of them, and Rock Bottom is one I would go to again. (857 characters)

Visited Deschutes Brewery & Public House in Portland, OR on Thursday August 30, 2015.

The public house was packed on a Thursday night and there was a waiting line, but we got a table for 2 in about 10 minutes. There were tables outside, but we took an inside table.

There was a nice selection of beers available, many on draft. I had two pints of the Black Butte Porter, which were excellent. The waitress was very helpful. She answered all of our questions and was very friendly.

Although they were packed, we received our drinks quickly. The food was also served quickly. We enjoyed a leisurely dinner, and did not feel rushed.

I had the crab roll, which was very tasty. My friend had the Elk burger which was good as well.

There are many brewpubs in Portland (which is great for beer lovers). Deschutes is one that I will want to go back to again. I hope to go back and try their Obsidian Stout. The beer was great, and the food was good for a brewpub. Beer selection was good too. (1,000 characters)

I was very underwhelmed by this place and was left scratching my head at the ratings on here. The beer list was solid but nowhere close to spectacular. The atmosphere wasn't great either - very dark (not in a good way), kind of run down and very stuffy with no A/C (was there on a very hot summer day). Not worth going out of your way for, but if you are in the area, it's worth stopping by for a pint. (405 characters)

So... I heard about this place from a buddy at work so thought I would check it out.

On the day I went they had around 165 bottles and 12 on tap... Pretty impressive.
Staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to actually care about beer as well as being well informed on their ranges. The place had a nice relaxed feel

They do not have the kitchen open yet (Aug 1st 2015) but plan to have her up and running in the next 6-8 weeks or so.
The decor was very nice, a real cosmo warehouse type feel being set over two levels with old school chairs for seating and big tables to encourage the social element and sharing the experience. The bar staff told me when the kitchen is up they will have sharing boards designed to be paired with food. This place is def one to check out if you are in the right neck of the woods!

They are also focusing on their own beer range over the next while so that will be one to watch as well! (928 characters)

This place is absolutely amazing and is a MUST visit if you are in PDX.

Cool vibe inside, lots of seating outside too. Tap list was great and the bottle list was even better. Service was also great. (204 characters)

Cool place. Solid but not spectacular. What Bailey's has going for it is location. If you are staying downtown on the west side of the river, there aren't many great beer bars, so Bailey's stands out. Tap list when I was there was solid, but nothing worth noting. Vibe is pretty cool too. (295 characters)

This is a must visit in PDX, espeically if you are a sour lover (which I am admittedly, not). The atmosphere is laid back and interesting, the service is great and the selection is fantastic. Would definitely go back on a future visit. (237 characters)

For a grocery store, the Corolla Food Lion is pretty good. They have the standard macros (reasonable prices, too) with a decent craft selection including a $9.99 mix-six section. Not a bad stop on the way to the 4x4 beach. (222 characters)

Pretty cool place that was a bit off the beaten path (for a tourist). Much bigger than I expected but still maintained a good vibe.

The beer was definitely above average but nothing stood out (I sampled most of the 8 they had on tap). With so many great beer options in PDX, it's hard to recommend this brewery, especially given the location, but if you are there for a few days and are looking for an interesting place, it is worth a visit. (445 characters)

This is a bit of an odd place, tucked away in the basement of what seemed to be an office building. It almost felt like a speakeasy. A little disorganized too. That being said, this was still an interesting place that I was happy I visited. The selection was a little thin, but the beer was all great. (306 characters)

This place was everything I hoped it would be. Cool atmosphere, good service and great beer. My only minor complaint would be that a couple more options on tap would have been good, but HOTD isn't known for having a huge lineup of beer. Was very happy to find a barrel aged Adam variant. A MUST visit in PDX. (314 characters)

The classic stop in downtown PDX. This place is REALLY busy even during the week and even at off time. the atmosphere is fairly "corporate: feeling but still cool. The beer selection was excellent, within seemingly 15 (?) different offerings on tap. The downside is that those options all seemed to be different variations of pale ales. Aside from Black Butte, the recent anniversary beer and a pilsener, everything was a pale ale/red ale/IPA/DIPA. Was surprised that Obsidian wasn't available. I would have also liked to have seen more barrel aged options available. (576 characters)

Has galway bays own brand of beers on tap. Good selection on tap and bottle. Does not offer food. Not far from city centre and nice cosy venue in the early afternoon. Does get very busy later on. Beers can be a bit expensive like all galway bay brewery bars. (258 characters)

First of all this really isnt a BA bar. It just offers up the usual macro lagers. But the pub has nice vibe and its a reasonable venue in the tourist heart of the city. I had lunch here, food was decent. Beer selection is very poor but this is a more mainstream tourist venue. Worth a check in for lunch. Also has a good reputation at night for a fun night out. (361 characters)

The beer here was the worst I have ever had, bar none. I was told by a friend that also lives in town that they buy their beer on contract and it is not made in house anymore. This makes sense as it had terrible flavor and was served BARELY cold. I would not drink any of their beers again, I cannot overstate how bad their beer is. Great place to hang out and plenty of space, just don't order their beer. (410 characters)

Small new brewery only open about 3 months ago. We stopped in on a Friday afternoon when there were not many other persons there. The place could use some decoration to give it some character, but it's clean and bright with a decent patio out front. Staff was attentive, but a little unengaged. We just grabbed a flight & chose five of the eight beers on tap. We had three IPAs (incl a session and a double), a Scotch ale and a porter. They were all solid, but the DIPA and the Scotch stood out. There's a space outside for live music & I'm sure this would be an easy place to hang out on a cool autumn afternoon. It's definitely worth a stop if you're near Franklin. (668 characters)

Atmosphere - small, but plenty of seating inside and on the side patio. It's a brewery, but the place didn't smell like one; instead, it smelt like everyone in the place was smoking. Place came across as damp and dirty.
Quality - had two of their beers; the session IPA was great, however, the sour tasted more like a saison.
Service - nobody checking on patrons on the patio; staff at the bar were helpful, but seemed disinterested.
Selection - about 9 or 10 with variety to choose from.
Food - don't recall seeing a food truck, but I believe they normally have one?
Value - would return to fill a growler of the session IPA, but not to stay long. (648 characters)

Awesome brewery, fantastic beers, and a very nice minimalist setup. The Lost Abbey/Port brewing have a cool thing going here. They offer the goods without giving the tasting room a mainstream feel. I manage a local craft beer oriented restaurant so I carry their beers regularly.

The service here is nearly awful. After 4 visits i have decided that it is only fair that i share my 'average' of experiences. Every beer server i have encountered has been very short, and blatantly rude to me. I have been scoffed at when asking for multiple tasters of their sours, told "too bad" when informing them of infected bottles I've purchased in house, and lied to about their apparel.

As someone who orders tens of thousands of dollars worth of beer from this company each year, i am sorely tempted to drop their account based on the unprofessionalism they have put forth to their biggest asset, their customers. While their beers may be world class, i would much rather drive the further distance to other places such as The Bruery, Green Flash, etc. (1,061 characters)
