Had dinner with a few friends the other night here and had a great experience.

Our 4 top was seated on a busy Friday night within about 10-15. Ordered a few drinks - all of which are top notch and they do half-pours which I really appreciate.

Service was knowledgeable and attentive. Menu had something for everyone including a super picky person we were with. As far as food quality, there might have been some nit picky things with some of the food, but it's really splitting hairs and not worth mentioning. I just got the house burger and it was awesome.

I grabbed the ticket for everyone since they do AHA discounts and I was the only member at the table. Talk about sticker shock - the good kind. Drinks, appetizers, and a meals for four was $100 before the discount. Total, absolute steal. Was fully expecting a $150-$200 check.

I'll absolutely be back, many times. (881 characters)

There is a place in Webster that if you have never been there before then you need to go. It is the KBC Beer Garden on 9 Frederick St. Meet the owners Brian and Lisa enjoy the beer, wine, sangria or homemade soda and the family feel that you get from this place. You will not be disappointed this place is a treat. (314 characters)

Wit's End Brewing Company

V-Wit's End is located in one of the more "industrial" industrial parks around...a few miles south of downtown. The place is small and industrial feeling inside too with maybe 12 bar stools and a half-dozen four tops. Brewing equipment is visible in back and the cinderblock construction is only partially covered. Still, the place manages to be warm and more inviting that similar breweries around town. It was pretty quiet when I visited on a Sunday afternoon in mid-summer.

Q-The brews I tried -- an oatmeal IPA, a Belgian blonde, and a hefe -- were all pretty tasty. The blonde was particularly impressive and the hefe had the unique addition of rye which made for a nice beer. Likewise, the oatmeal IPA was above average.

Ser-The bartender, Matt, was super friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and without any sort of pretension. He poured beers with the right of amount of head and offered opinions without being overbearing. Really nice guy.

Sel-Wit's End had nine beers (all brewed in-house) on tap. The selection was seasonally appropriate with lighter offerings and a few IPAs instead of stouts or darker selections for summer.

O-It is somewhat hard to find and the surrounding environment isn't that pleasant to look at, but but this place impressed me with the beers and the service was world class. I will happily come back here. (1,348 characters)

Went here as part of a beer bus tour. They had a very good selection of taps, local and from out of state. They had some beer by Alpine that I have never seen in Houston before. The main issue here is that the prices are kind of high. If you are in the part of town, I definitely recommend checking them out (311 characters)

Went here with family and friends Saturday nite. Champ103 pretty much summed it up. Beer selection is nothing exciting, though they did have a beer from Oasis and 8th Wonder that I had yet to try. Unfortunately the 8th Wonder blew before I could taste it. On the plus side it is dog/pet friendly. I added pet because a lady was on the patio with her parakeets. Food was real solid, service was a tad bit hectic. Waitress kept apologizing because she had just gotten back from vacation. All said I would go back here again, not as a beer destination but more for just hanging out and having a few beers with some pretty good food. One thing that somewhat aggravates me about places like this is that they don't have their taplist published. Since I live outside of town, not the kind of place I can drop into and check out what is new. This would be the type of place that I would go to more regularly if they published their taps and had stuff that I was interested in. (980 characters)

I would not have come here since it's not in my neighborhood, however, I received a notification from Beer Menus indicating that they were carrying a beer, Maine Mean Old Tom, that I've been trying to get a hold of.
It is a supermarket that happens to have a small selection of craft beer as soon as you walk in. I found my beer right away. In another section of the supermarket they carry cold beers but more standard (not craft). They also carry some Eastern European macros. The craft section was small but with excellent selections. They had mostly bombers, six packs and few 12oz singles. A drawback is that you cannot take a single out of the six pack. Also, they were pricey selections. There was one person working there who was nice and knowledgeable. I would go back but not too often given the distance. (816 characters)

A cool and spacious outdoor Bohemia style Biergarten in Astoria, close to the tri boro bridge and subway. A good place to get German, Czech and Eastern European style lagers. Decent selection although nothing rare or fancy. They often have live music; last time I went there was some old style bohemian folk band with costumes. The food is good if you want to have your beer with traditinional german fare such as sausages and bratwurst. A fun hang. (449 characters)

Huge beer selection although they don't really push the local brews. The service is friendly but one bartender clearly lacked knowledge. Didn't have the food but if it's like the other locale I'm sure it's okay. (211 characters)

Really nice vibe in the tasting room. They seem to have around 5 of their brews on tap at all times (always rotating), plus an equal number of guest beers. Definitely get there early, as the place was completely packed by mid afternoon on a Saturday. (252 characters)

A great bottle shop close to Chicago and Rockford. They had a large selection of craft choices, however only about 2-3 coolers to hold them. So many were on shelves. Which was fine, as everything tasted fine and fresh. They keep more selective items under lock and key, so ask. They had 3Floyds, but you need to ask. They had Great Lakes, Solemn Oath, and many other leaders in craft beer. Prices were fair, selection was very good.

If you are close, this is the bottle shop to go to. (488 characters)

This pace was hoping. It's right on the river and the layout works nice.
The beers were average, as was the food.
Rockford has a growing number of places in craft beer and local foods, which makes the competition for business even tougher. As their beer and food improves, so does the chances I'll be back. (308 characters)

Went in on a weekday afternoon. Relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. Grabbed a seat at the bar. Tasted a couple of their tart saisons. Nice young lady offered me some strawberries. I accepted. Paired well with the Mango Beatitude. Paid, picked up a few bottles, and left. In and out in twenty minutes. Pretty efficient operation. Cheers! (334 characters)

Probably the best craft beer place in Rockford, that is not a brewery. They had 20-30 taps, alot more bottles, and you can buy bottles to go. They do serve food, and the service was good.
I'd recommend checking this place out. It is walkable from Carlyle. (256 characters)

A good bottle shop in the Rockford area. While they did not have as many to select from as I was hoping, what they had was all good. Several Chicago area selections, and other higher quality craft selections. I'd recommend checking this place out. (250 characters)

I have to say I really didn't like this place. When visiting Brussels the first time, I avoided it, hearing that it was kind of a tourist trap. This last time, I thought I'd decide for myself.

This place feels crowded even when it isn't. Lots of tables and chairs strewn about and an unpleasant stench in the air. Somewhat claustrophobic feeling.

Service is perfectly fine. No complaints.

I thought the selection was supposed to be massive. I really didn't find too much that I couldn't elsewhere. The lambic selection was only Oud Beersel straight lambic, which was nice, but that was the only lambic. Seemed odd.

This place is probably more appealing for people drinking a lot of different Belgian for novelty's sake, which is fine, of course, just not for me. (766 characters)

Best selection I have seen in the area and does not feel like a college dump being that close to U of Delaware. Like the option of mixing packs. Staff is very helpful, willing to grab something cold from in back for me. Growler station was great, nice selection and prices. My filler knew each brew inside and out. (314 characters)

There is a lot of hype about Cantillon. I do enjoy pretty much everything I've had from them, but there are other lambic producers/blenders that I feel don't get as much attention that deserve more. That being said, this is a place where you can come in alone and leave with good friends from all over the world. It's hard to say many other places are like this.

The service is generally nice though I feel like they can sometimes be a little short with people who seem like they're only interested in the rarest of the rare. Can't blame them. Jean Van Roy is perfectly willing to chat with people if he isn't too busy.

When I was there, the selection for on-premise drinking was incredible, but for take-away was quite minimal. Wasn't too disappointed though. (762 characters)

Very friendly and prompt service. 5 on tap, but out of most of their stuff because of unexpected popularity f new brewery. No food. Carry out options with glassware and clothing.
