Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the snifter. Sudsy mouthfeel with a sharp carbonation. Some aromas of peach and alfalfa. Starts with a taste of orange and heads straight toward the grapefruit pith. Claims to be brewed "mainly with Mandarina Bavaria hops from Germany," but more like an overdose.
Quite dry finish and a seriously bitter aftertaste. This is drinkable enough in the utterly standard bitter IPA vein. From the 16 oz can purchased at the big wine store. Nice graphic of the classic San Clemente scene, sunset over the pier.
