Re-release in 2017. 16 oz can format. Pours bright gold with some lovely little floaties in suspension, and capped with a foamy white head that sticks and laces well. Smells of tropical fruits, citrus, and pine. The stripped down grain bill leads to a wonderfully hop-forward flavored beer with said notes of tropical fruits of mango, papaya, then grapefruit and pine to finish it all up, complimenting a mild sweet biscuit and toasted sesame. Bitter as eff, and dry as a bone. Signature feel to a great crisp and wonderful classic "west coast" IPA. Overall, I love this beer and am glad to see it reemerge from the ashes. Especially in the 4x16 can format. Cheers!

Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color with a sandstone, near 2 finger width head. Decent retention, then dissipates to a thin, consistent layer of surface suds. Lacing consists of thick, elongated spots.

Smell - Strong notes of orange character with a touch of grapefruit. Hints of bread and caramel sweetness sit beneath.

Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy orange hop character throughout, a touch of grapefruit, and a strong caramel malt base that also hits on a bit of grainy bread. Finishes with a lingering orange pith bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with moderate carbonation. Slick texture lends itself to a smooth drinking experience before a dry finish.

Overall - No bottling date, but I believe I'm a bit late to this party based on this having been made for Brew Ha Ha, an event that happened in September. There may have been some hop degradation, but it's delicious regardless. If they brew this again next year, I'll be sure to seek out a fresher sample.

Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy tan head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, grapefruit juice, tropical fruit, and pine needle flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with fantastic citrus and tropical hop characteristics all around.

Serving type: bottle.

sweet tropical, luscious IPA collaboration with Artifex and Pizza Port. i'm very surprised this hasn't been entered yet(?)...... I guess this is the 'official' BrewHaHa beer which is happening today? it's not bad.... good flavor, very standard; but upper standard. "....copious amounts of Mosaic, Nelson, Simcoe, Columbus, Centennial and Cascade hops..... Citrus bomb...."
