My version of Cheers taken to a craft beer level. Has all the comforts of your favorite local haunt with a tremendous selection of local and national craft brews. No TVS, friendly staff, good food and rare tappings once a week. Been going for years. Well worth your time.

I've been to many craft beer stores and breweries and I must say Vintage Estates is in my opinion the best place I have been to. From the first time I went in there, everyone was extremely helpful.

The selection of craft beer is the largest most diverse I have ever seen. The food, specifically the flatbread pizza is incredible.

They really take notice of what each customer likes, I have been there at least 8 times now and from the 3rd visit on the bartenders knew what my preferences were and are always quick to let me know what is new since my last visit.

I would HIGHLY recommend Vintage Estates to any craft beer enthusiast.

Charging $3.79/bottle for Three Floyd’s Zombie Dust instead of the $12/six pack, like everyone else, everywhere else. I brought this up on Facebook, as did 2-3 friends, and they disabled reviews. That's petty, and indicative that the owner knows they're in the wrong. Well played. Otherwise, great selection, and I always make sure to stop by when visiting friends in Ohio.

Was told that I needed to check this place out by a friend of mine who lives in Ohio. So I planned out the stop on my way back to PA from OH. The store is split into 3 parts. The wine store is first then the beer area and then a taproom. It's pretty incredible honestly. The selection is very impressive, the service was excellent too. All in all, if I'm ever out that way again I'll definitely make this a stop.

Vibe: I went during a non-busy time. It was a chill atmosphere in each of the rooms. Seems like it would be a great place to hang up a coat and have a few pints with some friends.

Quality: From what I could tell a lot of the beers were fresh, including the bombers on the walls.

Service: The service was fantastic, not too intrusive, but interested in helping and informative when doing so.

Selection: A top-notch, juicy selection of all styles. I felt confident in picking out beers I've never had because of the wide range of above par beers.

Food: I had a reuben panini to go, but the chips, pickle and sandwich were ripe. I'd definitely like to come back and slurp up a few more items on the menu.

Overall: If you don't walk out of here with at least a sixer or a case, I'd be surprised. The pricing is reasonable. They mentioned that they have bottle releases, and I'm excited about attending. Rolling in from Pittsburgh, it's worth the time, gas, and tolls. This is likely going to be a top 5 on my go-to despite the distance.

I love this place. I drive 20 minutes from Austintown just to grab some new stuff everytime (as well as a few Belgium favorites). Biggest beer selection that I know of around here.

In addition to their wine selection, Vintage has a large room to the left of the entrance with a wide variety of beers and styles to select from. Most of of these are on shelves in the center at room temperature, but at least some effort has been made to prevent too much sun exposure. It's quite cramped if more than one person is in an aisle at a time, and a bit warm and musty. The obvious or more popular beers are in coolers, allowing people to crack them open at the bar, or take them home cold.

The selection is perhaps a little too big as there are some large sections of older brews that have been around a while, and Boardman isn't exactly known for it's bustling craft beer scene, so some of these may continue to age on these shelves.

They also have two bars and an impressive array of taps on both sides with a lot of sought after fresh and new brews featured.

Food mostly consists of unique pizzas with tasty combos that ain't half bad!

I have heard many great things about this place and was finally fortunate enough to experience it on a Sunday shortly after opening.

It is located in a strip mall. There was an outside patio to the left as I approached. I walked into a wine store. The beer store/bar was to the left. Once inside the beer room there were shelves and shelves of cold and room temperature beer. The bar in that room had twelve beers on tap. The next room over was a bar with twelve more beers.

The beers on tap were wide in style which was nice. I had a couple sours and IPA's. My girlfriend and I ordered some food from the wide array of flatbreads. It was served on brown paper on the bar.

The place was good, but after hearing so much hype about this place I was a little disappointed. I'll admit my expectations were too high. This is a very cool place.

I want to have my ashes spread here. This place is absolutely incredible. If you can't find something to suit your taste, you don't like beer.

Excellent place with an ample selection of the finest brews and wines. We love this place and return often. We like to get a sample flat of beer and she gets wine, we can try all kinds and find what we like best. The flat bread is awesome!

This spot was voted the best beer store in the world and I whole-heartedly agree! Phill is an extremely accessible owner and very knowledgeable. Everyone (owner, staff, and patrons) is so friendly and helpful. The selection is unbeatable. After visiting this establishment, I don't ever want to buy beer anywhere else. Thank you Vintage Estate and thank you Phill!

I've only been here a couple times, and haven't tried the food or bar. Haven't spent any time in the wine room, so I can only speak to the beer-to-go section. The place doesn't look big, and it's not. But they do pack an awful lot of fermented goodness into the available space.

The beer selection is separated into 4 main sections from what I remember--Belgians, "other" imports, domestic crafts (with a subsection dedicated to regionals), and "new stuff". There is also a large refrigerated cooler on one wall. The first time I was there I was offered a brief "tour" and explanation of how everything is organized. I like how they group things by breweries, rather than styles. That way I can see everything they have from Founders, Lagunitas, Fat Heads, Stone, North Coast, etc. without having to go back and forth. The overall selection is not the best I've seen, but probably better than 75% of craft retailers.

Prices are well within the reasonable range, given the extensive selection. I look forward to trying the food sometime soon.

I've been going to VE for years now. The place is incredible.

Atmosphere: Depends on what time and day you go. During the day, its very laid back. Typically there is plenty of space to walk around and browse the amazing selection of over 1,200 beers. Choose from 24 draft beers from either of their two bars and have a field day exploring the plethora of bottles they have for sale.
During the nights, it can get a little hectic, especially on Fridays and Saturdays and occasionally on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "T-Shirt Tuesdays" are quite a treat as they offer half-off drafts and wine pours and no bottling or cork fee, provided you are wearing one of their Vintage Estate (or sister restaurant, Magic Tree) t-shirts. On weekends, expect a difficult time finding somewhere to sit and sometimes even stand. It will likely be shoulder-to-shoulder but its possible to strike up a conversation with almost anyone there about anything you want, particularly beers!

Quality: The building is broken up into four sections: a wine room, $5 bar, lounge room and the fireplace room (I'm not sure what the official names are). The wine room is a small room that contains about 1,000 wines (and Saki) from around the world. There is always a wine specialist in the room willing to offer their expert knowledge in helping you select a fine wine.
The $5 dollar bar contains a 12 draft and 1 cask bar, about 6 fridges, shelves for days full of beer and areas to sit. Though its a little confined in this area, the beer choices never seem to end. They have special sections for local Ohio/PA beers (Brew Kettle, Hoppin Frog, Thirsty Dog, Rivertown, Fat Heads Full Pint, Rivertowne, Penn, Etc), imports from the UK, Belgium, etc.
The Lounge Bar has a nice ~12 seat bar, chalk board of 11 "hard-to-get" draft beers (1 of those a nitro tap) and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale (the only non-rotating beer). It also has meads, bourbons, scotches and martini choices. The room also includes plenty a few 4-seat high tables to sit at.
The last room, the Fireplace room, has a nice fireplace, two couches around it and a few tables to sit at. This room can be rented for special occasions.

Service: As I previously mentioned, the employees in the wine section are very knowledgeable and friendly. They can assist in whatever questions you have ranging from novice to expert. The servers and bartenders in the bar rooms are also experienced in craft beer. Each one of them brings different tastes and preferences in their assistance, so its helpful to talk to all of them for recommendations: although all can assist with basic needs such as finding beers, styles and general knowledge of new releases and highly rated beers they have on their shelves. Each month the employees generally pick a new beer to promote, keeping things fresh and interesting.

Selection: >1,200 beers and ~1,000 wines along with scotch, bourbon and mead. They rotate their drafts as soon as the keg is kicked, so the draft offerings are constantly changing, save Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale in the Lounge. If you're looking for a specific beer and can't find it (whoa!), the staff will help you search the store and if they don't have it, they'll try to order it for you.

Food: They have an adequately ranging menu, primarily based on fresh dough from the local area. Their flat-breads are amazing and are made of extremely fresh ingredients. If you like hot and spicy, get anything with their jalapenos or ghost peppers: its some of the spiciest foods I've ever had.

Overall, if you live anywhere between the Pittsburgh to Cleveland area, you should make the trip to Vintage Estate. Its a phenomenal place to buy craft beers and talk with some real beer enthusiasts. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The deals on T-Shirt Tuesday make buying a t-shirt a great idea and it pays for itself within a Tuesday or two. On weekends, they usually have solid local bands and Thursday's Open Mic Night offer up some high-quality local musicians.

This is a must-visit location.
