350 ml bottle (exp. 08/2016) in a Leffe tulip. Great beer, specially for that price. It tastes and feel much better when warmer.

Golden amber color with a two finger head with medium retention and leaving laces.
Good aroma of malt, Belgian yeast, fruits and floral hops.
Malty flavor with an elegant bitterness and hints of condiments, Belgian yeast again, guaranĂ¡ and apples. Dry and bitter aftertaste, nice that has some persistence.
Light towards medium body with good carbonation and a spicy feeling.
Well balanced beer, with a nice flavor and pleasant to drink. Good session ale.

A: Pours a bit cloudy orange to amber color forming a small aired bubbled yellow head. Low retention and many lacings left

S: Sweet on the nose. Toffee, honey, Belgian yeasts, dark fruits (grapes) and flowery hops

T: Follows the nose. Caramel malts, roasted malts, Belgian yeasts. Metallic and biscuity. Grassy hops bitterness

M: Light body. Good carbonation. Good bitter aftertaste

O: Good drinkability. Good quality Eisenbahn, as usual

Had the opportunity to try this on tap at the brewpub in Blumenau while on business.

Color is right in the amber range, white fairly thin bubbly head.

Someone earlier described it as hitting you belgian yeasts on the nose and this is exactly what my impression of it was as well.

Taste was pretty true to style, picked up the belgian yeasty notes and a the malts definitely came into play on this one. clean drinking and refreshing, especially in the heat and humidly!

Blumenau itself was settled by Germans,(the town has a giant Oktoberfest each year) so many of their beers reflect that heritage, incredible to see how they brought that culture across the ocean. A really unexpected find, if you are ever in the area, be sure to check it out!

Pours a pale deep golden and copper color that shows a nice fluffy white head with moerdate retention and above average lacing.

Aroma is of cereal grain, bread and biscuity malts followed by floral and citric hops (with orange and lemony notes).

Taste follows aroma starting out with a grainy and kinda stale malt profile followed by the citric/floral hop combination. Finishes with a mild bitterness that lingers somewhat in the aftertaste.

Body is medium to low and carbonation is high. Medium drinkability.

Overall an average pale ale with a malt profile that IMO is kind of stale and grainy, reminding me of a lager. Not much fruity ale-yeast contribution to the beer. The hops are pretty nice in this beer that leans more towards a British Pale Ale than an American.
