Appearance: hazy orange in color with a 1/2" head that falls to a thin surface foam.

Smell: citrus and floral hops are easy to detect.

Taste: caramel, orange, mango, pear, and a mild floral bitterness create a well balanced APA.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp from start to finish. Short lasting aftertaste.

Overall: an easy drinking pale ale that is refreshing and has a nice flavor profile.

Poured from a 12 oz can into a mason jar.

A:Copper with offwhite, oatmeal colored 1-finger frothy head.

S: Aroma is solid APA with floral and grapefruit character on a soft light caramel pale malt backing.

T: Flavor leaves a lot on the table with a flabby malt character that is missing a bready or caramel note that is badly needed. THe hopping also is flat with some floral notes and light grapefruit and honeysuckle most of all. Moderately bitter.

M: Light and right on the money for feel with medium at most carbonation and dry finish.

O: Needs a boost in hop and malt flavor to be a contender.

6 pk of cans bought in Ingles Shelby NC. Pours nice deep amber golden color. Nice aroma of hops to come. Slightly watery on the moth feel - could probably beef up by adding some carapils malt to the kettle. A nice balance of hop flavor and malt, not overbearing. A clean tasting brew with a fleeting taste of malt on the end. Definitely very drinkable and will always have a place in my fridge

On tap at Stone Ridge Tavern in Asheville, NC. Cloudy deep gold color, with off-white head. Initial impression is malty, but it finishes with a nice hop bite. Medium mouthfeel. All in all, a tasty but not remarkable APA.
