Another new one on the wall today and not really sure what to make of this one, served cold and poured into a pint glass, this one was consumed on

The pour was ok, dark amber, bordering on orange in color with a crystal clear appearance straight off. A very small head of white foam then rose up and capped the top but only hung out for a few moments before it went completely bare, save for a few touches on the sides. Aroma is light, very bready without much depth to it. Warming helps as some light and subtle notes start to rise. Light grassy notes, a hint of a subtle hop presence but nothing really out of the ordinary. Very light body and a little light on carbonation as well did not really help the flavor pop. Light grain and tons of earthy malts, but it lacked that extra bit of bite and fullness I would like in a good red ale, still it was decent. Last sip is semi dry with a hint of sweetness as a touch of caramel comes into play.

Overall a drinkable but rather average example of the style. Needs a little work, still rough on the edges.
