Hazy brown with white foam. Leaves traces on the side of the glass. Smells fresh. Tastes frisky. Deep and rich. Bit watery but still a sipper. Great beer for onze in a while.

Pours a dark reddish brown with thick, tan head.
Smell is fruity with notes of dried fruit, plums, brown sugar and hints of wood, Pommac and caramel.
Taste is fruity and rich Notes of POmmac, dried fruit, plums and a little bit of booze. Fairly solid bitterness with a dry, wooden finish.
Mouthfeel is medium with frothy carbonation.
Overall, a nice Belgian, not overly traditional.

Humulus Lupulus "small wolf"; such is the title inviting you in. This braun bier hailing from the Ardennes forest is anything but humble.
The smell, very different from from your typical Belgian variety, is malty and warm. The taste exquisite, smooth; hints of coffee, barley and a slight, disappearing, sweetness of honey. This beer is neither too hoppy nor sweet. It strikes the perfect balance of the style while maintaining a modern, fresh feel. Do not be startled by the ABV - there is not a hint of a high alcohol content in this beer.
Recommended setting: December nights, a fireplace and good music. Enjoy.

Murky brown color with beige head. Aroma has some chocolate malt and yeast notes with a hint of apple. Taste is quite well balanced with toasted malt, light chocolate and earthy, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, medium to low carbonation. Really nice, easy drinking dark ale.

Poured into snifter.
Hazy dark brown with 2-finger beige head, not very long retention. Smell is not very attractive - rhubarb, faintly fruity and spicy, cocoa, rather sour. Taste - semisweet, caramel, chocolate, fruits, cinnamon, not very good portion of hops in the finish. Expectedly warming and still drinkable, mild carbonation, dense body.
